La WGM Argentina, Candela Francisco, lo intentó contra la mejor jugadora de la Copa del Mundo, la GM china Lei Tingjie. Tenía que ganar de blancas y tras esfuerzos denodados por desestabilizar la posición, terminó inferior y la china no perdonó.
