@TheOfficerTatum September 11th?? Ah yes, 🤣🤣and the earth is flat, vaccines and gene altering serums are distributed via jet entrails, little green men are running around Area 51,....
What is this, crazy conspiracy Wednesday?
@OfficialGavlaar@ijustine I’ll agree to an extent that there is a bit of brand loyalty around apple products in general. Apple does make good core products iPads, MacBooks, iPhones. And there is a fan base. But it’s not a status symbol. I see these zealots just as that. Apple people <> Leica people.
@OfficialGavlaar@ijustine I believe people have their preference. My reasoning has to do with their being so name brand options for accessories and such (e.g. Beats, Bose) available and a diminishing % of people using Apple’s accessories. As to the phones, I think those are even less of a status symbol*.
@OfficialGavlaar@ijustine *let me qualify my asterisk.
If someone buys the iPhone 12 max and parades around like a peacock, it’s less about the brand and more about that they want people to think they have ‘money’ and or they have the latest & greatest (gear acquisition syndrome [g.a.s]).
@Annakhait I’d get one, however, I have Covid now, and that mean others will be prioritized over me. None the less I’ll still get one because I’m not a flat-earther, anti-vaccine, Jane Fonda climate change Fucktard either.
@OfficialGavlaar@ijustine No but feeling entitled is. And Apple gear is not a status symbol. That ended long ago. I’ve never seen anyone look down on another because they don’t have the latest Apple accessory. And if anyone does. Fuck them and their worthless opinion.
