தற்போது நாம் சீரமைத்து கொண்டிருக்கும்
பட்டுக்கோட்டை அதிராம்பட்டினம் சாலையில் உள்ள “செல்லிக்குறிச்சி ஏரி”. கிட்டத்தட்ட 320 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவு கொண்ட ஏரி. மிக முக்கிய நீராதரமாகிய இந்த ஏரியின் நடுவே உயர் அழுத்த மின் கம்பங்கள் பல ஆண்டுகளாக இயங்கி வருகின்றன. இவற்றை அகற்றித்தருமாறு பொதுமக்கள் பலமுறை கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர்.

இந்த மின் கம்பங்களை அகற்றினால் மட்டுமே இந்த சீரமைக்கும் பணிகள் முழுமை பெரும், மக்களும் பாதுகாப்பாக உணர்வார்கள். ஆகவே மின்சார வாரியம் உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறோம்.

We had a productive discussion about our environmental restoration projects in Uganda, with a focus on sustainable water conservation, lake restoration, and building climate resilience for local communities.
