@2WeeditOut @VickyVelu7 I can give tons of similar examples in and around my constituency too. The DMK MLA who won this time, won just because he was part of the dominant religion here. TVK brought in a different candidate but still it was a close fight.

@2WeeditOut @VickyVelu7 In churches and mosques here, they usually prefer voting for DMK. Usually that’s the case. First time I can remember, I can see people going against their religious leaders and voting for TVK.

@2WeeditOut @VickyVelu7 TN politics is caste driven. For example. Kongu belt is dominated by ADMK cause they bring in candidates from dominant castes in that region and win them easily. First time in the last 20-25 years, this has changed.
