@thekaipullai The cooling system needs to control a lot of heat and evaporation occurs rapidly. Water with excessive chemicals will clog pipes and reduce efficiency. Hence drinking water is better. Desalination increases costs. Better sites available currently.

I just watched your interview on the RCB YouTube channel, and trust me when I say this, I laughed like that after a long long time.

You survived five years of abysmal form in Test cricket, averaging 30.72 and scoring only three centuries across that entire period, solely because of your past achievements and India’s “hero-worship” culture.

Had you played for countries like South Africa, Australia, England or even the West Indies, you would’ve been shown the door long ago.

So instead of complaining, be thankful you got far more time than most cricketers ever would. You should blame only yourself for not trying hard enough. You should be ashamed for taking the format that, according to you, is “five levels above anything else in cricket” for granted.

You never fixed your outside off-stump weakness and eventually, it caught up with you.

And if you’re still unhappy with the BCCI’s decision, remember one thing:
you are not bigger than the game.

So, you can go back to your home in London, get holed up in your bedroom, and cry like a baby.
