Electronic City is living proof that Bengaluru doesn’t have a money problem. It has an execution problem.
Requesting @TVMohandasPai and @kiranshaw to personally take Bengaluru Development Minister @krishnabgowda on an early morning drive and walk through @ELCITA_IN’s jurisdiction.
Not at 11 AM.
Come at 6 AM.
Walk the streets before the city wakes up.
Here’s what you’ll see.
🧹 Roads already being swept.
🏃 Smooth, well-maintained roads that give runners and cyclists the confidence to use them every morning.
🚶 Wide, continuous footpaths protected by safety railings—not occupied by two-wheelers.
🌳 Landscaped medians and green spaces that are actually maintained.
🛣️ Clear lane markings and road signs that are visible.
🚦 Better traffic discipline.
🔧 Maintenance teams responding before problems become bigger problems.
✨ An industrial township that feels clean, organised and cared for.
Now keep driving.
The moment you leave ELCITA’s jurisdiction, the difference is impossible to ignore.
Broken footpaths.
Encroachments.
Faded lane markings.
Garbage.
Poor maintenance.
Pedestrians pushed onto the road.
The city changes almost instantly.
That raises an important question.
If Bengaluru can achieve this standard in one part of the city…
Why can’t we achieve it across the rest of Bengaluru?
This isn’t about building something new.
It’s about copying what already works.
Study ELCITA’s operating model.
Understand its maintenance standards.
Measure its response times.
Document its best practices.
Then replicate them—first on the Outer Ring Road, then across every zone of Bengaluru.
Good governance should never depend on your PIN code.
Every Bengalurean deserves the same quality of roads, footpaths and public spaces.
We don’t need another pilot project.
We don’t need another committee.
We already have a working model.
Now we need the will to scale it.

As part of Karnataka's ongoing efforts to strengthen its digital governance infrastructure, two major technology upgrades will be undertaken over the coming weekend. These include maintenance and infrastructure upgrades at the State Data Centre beginning on the night of 25 June 2026 and the migration of the Karnataka Secretariat e-Office system to a newer platform over 27-28 June 2026.
The State Data Centre supports a wide range of government websites, digital platforms and citizen services. During the maintenance window, some online government services may experience temporary disruption. The work has been scheduled over the holidays to minimise inconvenience while improving system reliability, security and performance.
The Secretariat e-Office system will also undergo a planned upgrade to enhance security and operational efficiency. During this period, only the Secretariat e-Office instance will be unavailable. All other e-Office systems across the state will continue to function normally.
Request citizens to bear with this temporary inconvenience. These upgrades are essential to building a stronger, more secure and efficient digital governance ecosystem and will help us deliver better public services in the years ahead.

All five corporations must build a minimum amount of internal capacity. They must have a small fleet of trucks designated to clear black spots 'on demand' and not be assigned to any other service, and they must have a small team designated to fill potholes as soon as they form, especially on non-arterial roads without major contracts. Outsourcing everything has become a big limitation on what they can achieve - even the smallest response is now a long contracting process. @GBA_office@comm_blr_south@krishnabgowda
As we advance toward our state's ambitious climate and sustainability goals, @kpcl_official is taking a massive leap by replacing conventional petroleum-based mineral oil with biodegradable #NaturalEsterOil in high-voltage transformers.
Starting with a successful pilot in #Gangavathi, this eco-friendly upgrade is now being scaled to 45 transformers. Moving forward, we have set a definitive target to scale this green revolution and upgrade all 3,754 active transformers across the state in phased stages!
This is not just an infrastructure upgrade, but a firm commitment to mitigating environmental risks and building climate resilience, energy self-reliance, and a greener Karnataka for future generations.

Yes you can’t widened Bengaluru roads and increase the walkable area but you have the opportunity to do so on the outskirts of Bengaluru areas outside of GBA where the population is exploding. Make those roads wider and walkable when you have the time. @osd_cmkarnataka
BWCC has officially launched the #BWCC1000K campaign. This ambitious initiative aims to upgrade 1,000 km of footpaths within a single month, targeting 10 km of highly walkable, barrier-free footpaths per ward.

All the car manufacturers should sell only flex fuel ⛽️ vehicles🚗. No E20, E22,E25,E30 compatible vehicles. Give customers the choice to fill whichever the blend is available.@volklub@hormazdsorabjee@ketan_auto@nitin_gadkari
The major alternative connecting roads to Whitefield from south is Varthur/Gunjur the choke point work is stuck from years. @krishnabgowda@GBA_office@osd_cmkarnataka
Why can’t we just build flyover from Chandapura to Attibele instead of VOP. VOP will end up being flooded during rains. Flyover would have been better seeing how Hosur has implemented in sipcot and further. @DrCNManjunath@osd_cmkarnataka@Pruthvinreddy
