I think this is a day before retirement of Bhavesh Zaveri, probably to push the candidature of Jimmy Tata as ED before Zaveri is relieved. Hope @RBI@RBIsays is reading.
The big headline out of the US is unemployment numbers
US Unemployment rose to a 4 year high of 4.6% in November
If you look at the data closely , nearly all the job additions have come from healthcare and private education.
If you remove those sectors , the US economy would have lost jobs !
The underlying tone of the data implies a weak hiring trend everywhere but in private education and health care, where 65,000 jobs were added in November after a solid 59,000 increase in October
Jobs in manufacturing have fallen off a cliff , shoring up manufacturing jobs was one of the pillars of the trump administration which has not played out.
The US labour market is also becoming narrow. Youth unemployment rate is over 10%
The other indicator is multiple job holdings. The share of Americans with multiple jobs is 5.3% the highest since 2020. This means people are working more than one job to make ends meet, another indicator of a weak labour market
But let’s remember it was expected that once the government reopened there would be a few months of noisy data, and we would not get a real sense of where the jobs market is until early 2026.
So perhaps it is best not to overinterpret this data because there will most likely be subsequent revisions to the initial estimates for both months.
@Honeybadger8198 @mtbarra Flex fuel engines are already in the market from last one year. You can find a small badge which says e20 in most new vehicles
@saurav_sauranwb Executives call us to buy a Neo plan, even when i don't trade in futures, thus by paying 299 my demat fee reduces but the account acts like a broker pool account.
