@0rd0vicius@Cinerescent_ Are you sure that he remembers her? If I recall correcltly Miquella in the intro says „my loyal blade AND champion of the festival.“ I‘m pretty sure he means only Radahn here, so even he forgot her
@Jarv114 I never denied that, but that‘s just horror in general. Horror invokes shock because if it fidnt it wouldnt be horror. You asked what the theme is that ludwig represents which explains why he was designed the way he is, and that theme (very boiled down) is corruption
@drewlevin Hey Drew, I‘d be interested whether you guys ever thought about decreasing health and resistances overall and increasing death timers? It would make games faster, incentivize killing your lane opponent because death‘s are more punishing so you get a higher lead etc.
@RiotPupulasers I like it generally, but the more I played it the more problems I saw with it. Games last too long (almost all of my „swift“ games last 30+ minutes, like ato draft is faster) and that everyone gets to scale so it feels very unrewarding to perform well early are my main issues
Leona is the ultimate counter to Mel
1) She can't reflect your ult
2) She can't reflect your Q stun
3) If she reflects your E she turns Leona into Blitzrank
i am the first and, so far, the only women professional player in marvel rivals, and...
i used to sing.
i sang in competitions; solo, small groups, large ensembles full of men and women. i traveled abroad to sing for masses at churches all across Italy, including the actual Vatican itself.
i also sang for fun because i enjoyed it. i sang for the sisterhood, and the community i felt- the joy of improving at something, refining something, all of the people people around me sharing a common goal.
then i fell in love with gaming competitively. i didn't have time to invest in both, and couldn't live with a foot in both worlds. so i chose, and i CHOSE esports.
this narrative that portrays women in esports as less than, as societal rejects, is pure fabrication. it just tells me you've never sat down with any of us, you've never spoken with us as anything else but an "other." an alien and uncomfortable topic in 'YOUR' space.
i have met some of the smartest, most accomplished women through esports, including a close friend of mine who was quite literally getting her PHD while grinding overwatch. (yes she was top 500 on TANK)
to say these women are sleeping their way to the top, or are still using men for their success.. please open your eyes and please start treating us as HUMANS. humans who want the same as you, to get better and have fun playing video games.
its not that hard.
my heart ACHES whenever this topic is brought back up, so much malice and hatred towards us for no reason, when all we want to be is equals.
Women Belong In Gaming.
by age 20 you should have:
- joined a discord you don’t talk in
- a video game you spent too much money on
- an unhealthy attachment to a fictional character
- a friend from a completely different part of the world that you never met IRL but you’d trust with your life
No one is less masculine than republican “men”.
Specifically those who’ve spent the last 48 hours terrorizing liberal women.
Be a man. Not a middle school bully.
