I’m ready to trust CJP for the first time if it returns to Jantar Mantar. Since it has the power to mobilise protesters, now is the time to do it, because the state is once again showing its true colours through the massive crackdown it has launched on students across the country.
If CJP genuinely cares about students, it should declare its agreement with the government null and void with immediate effect. The “good faith” it placed in the government was deeply misguided, and its claim that the protest had helped the nation “restore democracy” has not stood the test of events.
If nothing of the sort happens, CJP will stand exposed, even before its most hardcore supporters.
@Cockroachisback
Sonam Wangchuk leaves for Ladakh with wife who wants Hindu Rashtra. Without uttering one word on police brutality, pellet guns, AK47, arrests, targeting of Muslims etc. Students who went on his call. Attributes Pradhan resignation to his non-violent fast. Highly irresponsible
It's done, Bro! (Not Yet.)
Thousands of students flooded Freedom Park in #Bengaluru.
The message was loud and clear for @JPNadda & @DrJitendraSingh: Pradhan's resignation isn't the end. We won't stop until every arrested protestor is released & every false case is withdrawn.
Comrade Neha (@neha_aisa) met the Bihar DGP & demanded adherence to the Jantar Mantar Agreement by immediately ending all persecution & arrests of participants and withdrawing all cases filed against them.
If not, then a mass movement against Bihar govt is awaited.
Remember - till now neither has Modi accepted the resignation officially, nor has the Home Ministry order to quash all FIRs arrived formally, nor a single paisa of compensation issued officially.
You have no idea what these guys are capable of. Trace back to Farmers' Agitation and you'll recall.
'Good Faith' doesn't work with these chaps.
The Home Minister @AmitShah is responsible for the atrocities inflicted on peaceful protestors on July 20. The Home Minister must resign: @MamataOfficial
Although Pradhan resigned, his resignation letter shows zero remorse and zero accountability and The government is acting like they are the victims; ministers are queuing up on social media to praise him with long essays, treating him like a martyr rather than a corrupt loser.
IT'S A VICTORY OF DEMOCRACY
direct democracy... straight from the streets.
It's a victory of peace, patience & persévérance.
Congratulations CJP, Gen Z of the nation and thank you all citizens for shedding fear and the fear of fear and rising up from every corner of the nation.
FROM ACCOUNTABILITY, NOW TO REFORMS
