@TheSkippersView@JeffPassan Newsflash: NEVER accept a Hollywood "historically" based film as accurate. That is NOT why they make movies. They make movies to make money. That's the ONLY reason. Personally, any movie that bills itself as a historical account isn't worth watching.
@thescorechicago Why should Chicago be an attractive destination? The Hawks have been losers since 2018 and remain losers even with their highly touted prospects. The other Chicago teams haven't exactly been destinations either.
@KaboomLip@stevestone@SoxNerd Mark, that's a very "Liptakian" thing of you. 😁 I still remember your Howard Cosell impersonation you did in high school. Sports was always your passion.
@startkyIeorton In Bloomington, IN, there are only 3 public lib. branches for 139K people not counting students (90K or so). The IU library IS open to the public & IN residents have borrowing privileges. I do recall other schools being more restrictive like U of C not allowing non-students.
@REMASCULATE My wife and I were married in 1976 and went on our honeymoon out west. We ended up at Mt. Rushmore, "The Shrine of Democracy" on July 4th, 1976. Incidentally they were under terrorist alert that day. Some things haven't changed much.
@PositiveSensFan@frank_seravalli This still is misleading. Sanderson was reaching for the puck with both hands on the stick thus lowering his head. Hall clearly isn't looking directly at S when his shoulder makes contact with S's face. S responds by throwing a punch at Hall's head. This is a nothing burger.
