@bertsbooks Depends on the holiday. If you are going on a holiday that involves sitting by a pool and reading take far more than for a city break /touring holiday.
@dieworkwear In the little Welsh village where I was brought up we had a cobbled. In true Welsh fashion he was called Bob The Cobbler. I don't think I ever knew his surname, it was probsbly Jones. If you buy good quality shoes they are worth looking after and repairing.
@LaceyBonarHull My daughter is called Elizabeth but know as Lizzie (after the second Miss Bennet, obviously). As soon as she could read her name (precociously early) she would pick up a coin and day "look it has my name on it " and keep it.
