And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1 KJV)
WHEN TO PRAY
There is a prevalent doctrine in the body of Christ that seeks to dictate the times when people ought to pray.
Some ministers teach that for effective prayer, one needs to wake up at 3 a.m. in the night because that is the darkest hour; it is when the devil and his agents are most active.
To such men, I ask the question: Is that 3 a.m. according to Ugandan time, Malaysian time, Australian time or the time in the United Kingdom?
This is because 3 a.m. in Uganda might be 9 a.m. in another country. Will all the forces of darkness have migrated to Uganda because it is 3 a.m.?
It is important to understand that the strength of prayer is not defined by the physical time in which you choose to pray.
Rather, you should be reconciled with the clock of the Spirit because it is what truly defines when to pray. With this knowledge, even when the Spirit nudges you to pray at noon, that is the most perfect time to pray. If He provokes you to pray at 6:30 p.m., that is the perfect time to pray.
Hallelujah!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You because I am perfectly attuned to Your Spirit and respond every time He convicts me to pray. My life of prayer is very effective because it is Spirit-led, in Jesus' name, Amen.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. ~Psalm 23:1-2 (KJV)
GREENER PASTURES
In 2022, it was estimated that 2,062 migrants died while crossing the Mediterranean Sea. These harrowing numbers do not include deaths at migrant detention centres or as a result of labour exploitation. Some bodies were never found, lost to the depths of the unforgiving sea.
In the Arab World, there prevails what is called the Kafala system, a legal framework that defines the relationship between migrant workers and their employers and perpetuates modern day slavery.
In these masses of migrants, there are Christians. If you asked them why they made the choice to uproot themselves from their nations to foreign lands, the answer will be the search for 'greener pastures.'
Child of God, I am not against people moving from one nation to another. But has the Good Shepherd led you there?
It is He who makes you lie down in green pastures.
One woman asked, 'What if the grass is greener on the other side because it's always raining there?'
Think about it.
Remember this, pastures are not green because of the nation you migrate to. They are green because they are where the Lord our Shepherd led you.
Hallelujah!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the land in which I was born and the nations to which You call me. I only move at Your instruction because You are my leader and my guide. I live life in the blessed assurance that I am where You want me to be, in Jesus' name, Amen.
