Encrypting from my device to your servers is TLS. Not sure what more protection does another round of encryption gives if the source and destination is the same.
Your servers are now processing a ton of PII without everyone being fully aware. Do note that any breach will be company ending.
Anyway not sure I fully understand how you are planning to secure it. Going to opt out.
Thanks for responding.
@hursh@dedene@joshm I’m surprised such sensitive data was not considered to be end to end encrypted (similar to WhatsApp/signal) so that dia servers could not access even if they wanted to. Browser is personal and your servers can access my history creeps me out.
We had a terrifying experience with @driveu_in when their driver was caught drinking and driving with women and children in the vehicle. What’s worse, DriveU refuses to take responsibility or cover the fine. This is a severe safety violation. Consider the risks before using driveU
@joshm I highly doubt this will sustain. I think both perplexity and “browse for me” can’t be replacement for Google. I need Google for current data. Actually “browse for me” replaced my use of perplexity, not Google
