In an extraordinary act of bravery, SI Sanjeev and Ct Rahul Jain fearlessly apprehended two armed robbers fleeing after snatching gold chains. Despite the grave danger, with the accused firing at them with loaded pistols, SI Sanjeev and Ct Rahul overpowered the criminals in a daring confrontation.
Their swift action led to the recovery of 2 pistols 🔫 , 10 live cartridges, and 3 stolen gold chains.
We salute the courage and dedication of SI Sanjeev and Constable Rahul Jain for their exemplary service in protecting our community! 👮🏻‍♂️🫡💪🏻

Capacity Building for South Andaman Police!

On 12/08/24, an insightful session on "Collection and Packing of Evidence" was conducted for Investigation Officers (IOs) from the ranks of Head Constable to Inspector in hybrid mode, benefiting approximately 50 personnel. This session is crucial in light of the new criminal laws, empowering our IOs with enhanced skills. The session was led by Shri Shivendra Pratap Singh, SSA, FSL, and coordinated by SDPO Bambooflat.

12/08/24 को हेड कांस्टेबल से लेकर इंस्पेक्टर रैंक तक के जांच अधिकारियों (IOs) के लिए "साक्ष्य संग्रहण और पैकिंग" पर एक ज्ञानवर्धक सत्र आयोजित किया गया, जो हाइब्रिड मोड में हुआ और इससे लगभग 50 कर्मियों को लाभ हुआ। नए आपराधिक कानूनों के मद्देनज़र यह सत्र हमारे IOs को उन्नत कौशल से सशक्त बनाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। यह सत्र श्री शिवेंद्र प्रताप सिंह, SSA, FSL द्वारा लिया गया और एसडीपीओ बम्बूफ्लैट द्वारा समन्वित किया गया।

Today, on 08/08/2024, the Inaugural function of National Space Day Celebrations, 2024 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Port Blair was organized by the NRSC- ISRO Scientists. Shri Sanjay Tyagi, IPS DIGP (Intelligence/CID) graced it as Chief Guest. On this occasion, an exhibition on National Space Day was also inaugurated by the Chief Guest and various cultural programmes were organised and prizes were distributed. Officials of National Remote Sensing Centre @isro and Principals of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 & 2 were also present.

A 3-day First Aid Firefighting & Disaster Management training was held Fire & Emergency Services (HQ) from 06th to 08th Aug 2024. Smt. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Fire) presided over the valedictory session as Chief Guest. She commended participants for their dedication and stressed upon the importance of such training for personal and community safety. She encouraged youth, especially females, to join the Fire Mitra scheme and share their knowledge. The program featured hands-on fire extinguisher demos. Certificates were awarded to 79 participants.

06 से 08 अगस्त 2024 तक अग्नि एवं आपातकालीन सेवा मुख्यालय में तीन दिवसीय प्राथमिक चिकित्सा, अग्निशमन एवं आपदा प्रबंधन प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन किया गया। समापन सत्र में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्रीमती मोनिका भारद्वाज, भा. पु. से., पुलिस उप महानिरीक्षक (अग्निशमन) ने कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता की। उन्होंने प्रतिभागियों की समर्पण भावना की सराहना की और व्यक्तिगत एवं सामुदायिक सुरक्षा के लिए इस प्रकार के प्रशिक्षण की महत्वता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने युवाओं, विशेषकर महिलाओं को फायर मित्र योजना से जुड़ने और अपने ज्ञान को साझा करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस कार्यक्रम में अग्निशमन यंत्रों के व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शन भी शामिल थे। 79 प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किए गए।

Milestone Achievement !

In a landmark move, the Andaman & Nicobar Police, led by Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, A & N Islands, has signed a historic MoU with the National Law School of India University (@NLSIUofficial), Bengaluru. This collaboration, signed on 09/08/2024, marks a significant step towards enhancing the capacity and capabilities of our Investigating Officers.

The MoU aligns with the recommendations of the DGsP/IGsP Conference and directives from the Govt. of India. It is aimed at equipping our officers with advanced training on the new criminal laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita – 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Surkasha Sanhita – 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam – 2023. This partnership reflects the administration’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is delivered effectively across the islands.

The Director General of Police, ANI leads the "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" initiative at Bambooflat

🌿 Today on 05/08/24, Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, DGP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Smti Sindhu Pillai A, IPS, IGP, along with other senior officers, visited Bambooflat. They planted saplings of fruit-bearing trees at the new PS Bambooflat site, promoting " Ek Ped Maa ke Naam." The DGP later visited PS Bambooflat where a befitting Guard of Honour was presented to him. Further, he also engaged with staff, addressing grievances and boosting morale. 🌱

"एक पेड़ मां के नाम" अभियान का नेतृत्व अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह के पुलिस महानिदेशक ने बम्बूफ्लैट में किया

🌿 आज, 05/08/24 को, श्री देवेश चंद्र श्रीवास्तव, आईपीएस, डीजीपी, अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह, और श्रीमती सिंधु पिल्लई ए, आईपीएस, आईजीपी, ने अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ बम्बूफ्लैट का दौरा किया। उन्होंने नए बाम्बूफ्लैट थाना स्थल पर फलदार वृक्षों के पौधे लगाए तथा "एक पेड़ मां के नाम" को बढ़ावा दिया। डीजीपी ने बाद में थाना बम्बूफ्लैट का दौरा किया जहां उन्हें गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया गया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने स्टाफ के साथ बातचीत की, शिकायतों का निवारण किया और मनोबल बढ़ाया। 🌱

Late night valiant operation to rescue 03 stranded fishermen from rough Sea by Andaman & Nicobar Police

Living upto its motto of Nirbhay-Nipun-Nishpaksh, During night of 20/07/2024 Swaraj Dweep Police and Police Marine Force( PMF) rescued 03 fishermen stranded on Nicholson Island by braving rough swell late night and putting their own lives at risk, brought them to Swaraj Dweep. All three fishermen are safe , sound and healthy.

अंडमान और निकोबार पुलिस द्वारा समुद्र में फंसे 03 मछुआरों को बचाने के लिए देर रात चलाया गया साहसिक अभियान

निर्भय-निपुण-निष्पक्ष के अपने आदर्श वाक्य पर चलते हुए, 20/07/2024 की रात के दौरान स्वराज द्वीप पुलिस और पुलिस मरीन फोर्स (पीएमएफ) ने देर रात भयंकर लहरों का सामना करते हुए और अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर निकोलसन द्वीप पर फंसे 03 मछुआरों को बचाया। उन्हें स्वराज द्वीप ले आये। तीनों मछुआरे सुरक्षित, स्वस्थ और सुरक्षित हैं।
