My main point was that there are often off-chain concerns that may lead to fees not being fully optimized.

@murchandamus What if the wallet software reports a lower balance given there is an outbound tx but not yet any conf on the incoming funds ? Such design can be improved ofc but I would expect it to create anxiety.
