@KoreaXboxnews Like, for example, Cyberpunk 2077 delivered 6 versions including PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch 2.
However, if here comes Cyberpunk 2 many years later, it will only offers PS6 and PC and possibly Switch 3 versions?
@jsmithwilliams@Chris_Dring Even including digital, the sales numbers for NS2 version can still hardly hit 1M so far.
The total number is 5M, mostly on PC and PS5. Those two platforms occupy around 4M(even more). How could the NS2 version achieve 1M when another platform called Xbox exists.
@MrCleman1@k1llegal_@RoyVII99@Wario64 He’s talking about the sequel, out in 2026, the game coming to NS2 is the first game of the series, which has been launched at other platforms since 2021, including PS, PC and Xbox.
@suhosjacket@TFS0ul@Wario64 nope, it’s not a Switch 2 Edition software like Zelda or Pokémon Z-A with an upgrade pack offered. Instead, it’s an individual Switch2 software like Hogwarts Legacy or Skyrim. So, no free path for the physical version to upgrade.
@kbynight0@billbil_kun I mean aren’t they the same in the same region? Like all priced at $19.99 in the US, whatever the platform is, PC, Switch,PS, or Xbox.
