I've been a conservative all my life. I grew up on Bill Buckley. And Barry Goldwater. And Ronald Reagan. Now at the. Ripe old age. I was 71. I'm fighting my 6th battle. With cancer.
I've had one lung removed. Surgically. I've had two that were destroyed using radiation. And another partially removed surgically. The latest round. Involves the removal of My adrenal gland. We seem to believe that the lung cancer. Has migrated to the adrenal. Utilizing. Blood flow. That there are possibly. Micro packages. Of cancer that flow through your system. In an effort to deal with this. We're going to begin a regime. Of four rounds of chemotherapy. What's a specific drug being used? That kills red and white blood cells. If you look at the adverse Effects. packaging. It reads like the Who's Who of I don't like this. One of the biggest. Risks. Is catch an infection? When your body is neutropenic and anemic. Therefore, I will be wearing a mask. When I go out. Around other people. Some will think. Well, there's just another liberal. And others will think. There's somebody who doesn't know what's going on. But the right mask. Will prevent a lot of. Airborne droplets. From entering my system. And it will also keep me. From introducing bacteria. To my system by simply touching my face or my mouth. Or my eyes. So when you see an individual. Going down the street. Wearing a mask. Don't immediately drop them. In that convenient. A political. Disgust.
