@airtelindia absolutely disgraceful the support you provide. Two times I requested for iptv but the request was taken for dth. In a span of 45 days I paid Rs 500 twice , no refund and I end up chasing your customer support who have absolutely no clue on what’s going on. Extremely disappointed. Terrible
Max Verstappen ejected a journalist from his news conference at the Japanese Grand Prix.
It's because of a row that dates back to last year's season finale in Abu Dhabi.
A glimpse of CRS speed trial conducted on 22.02.2026 on the newly laid double line between Makkajipalli and Dharmavaram (29 km), part of the Penukonda– Dharmavaram Doubling Project:
1974 to 1978 I studied in Sri Ramakrishna Misson Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
Reason to go there :
City colleges fees: Rs 1000 to 3000.
Hotel fees : 200 per month.
In SRMV: (25 kms from city)
College fees: 300
Hotel fees : 75 per month.
Reason to travel by train:
I could not afford even that Hostel fees.
I found a Govt Harijan hostel in city which was free.
But bus fare was 60 paise one way. Monthly Rs. 30.
That also sounded too costly.
A passenger train used to run in that route and its student quarterly pass was Rs. 7.
Reason to talk about this platform:
Train
In: Dep : 5:50 am. Arrival: 6:25 am.
Out: Departure: 6:10 pm. Arrival 6:45 pm.
College started at 9:00 am. Ended any time.
Time to kill:
6:30 am to 9:00 am.
Any time to 6:00 pm.
Average daily 6 hrs.
What I did:
Sat in this Railway platform and studied Maths Physics Chemistry
How did I get BARC job:
My 1000 days and 6000 man hours intense focus on Avagadros, Ohms and Pythagoras
Those days my mother was only earning member of family. Rs. 3 a day. So I had to do all sacrifice to get a degree without denting her arithmetics much. She gave her 4 bangles to pay my college fees.
What I wish to say is:
“Fortunately I was poor”.
Be it college or Career or business
“Patience, Focus, Frugality and Discipline “ Gives slow but sustainable success.
I took my wife to show how a railway platform made a Scientist. Pic :2015.
And here is what makes it truly extraordinary:
the Promotion Parade is being carried out on a moving train.
This is not symbolism for cameras.
This is the lived ethos of the Indian Army.
No parade ground? The mission moves on.
No perfect setting? Discipline adapts.
No pause in operations? Honour still continues.
A moving train means:
The nation is in motion, and so is the Army
Duty does not halt for ceremony, ceremony flows with duty
Leadership is recognised where the soldier is....on the move, in transit, in service
This may well be the rarest, and possibly the first, promotion parade of its kind anywhere in the world.
Steel wheels below.
Ranks earned above.
The tricolour in the heart. 🇮🇳
That is not improvisation.
That is institutional confidence.
That is the Indian Army.

My trip to the Andaman Islands was truly memorable. While the sea, beaches, and scenic tropical dense forests of this great island were truly mesmerising & captivating, it was the visit to the Cellular Jail that left a deep and lasting impression on me.
Walking through its dark and once shanty corridors, I shuddered at the thought of the unimaginable suffering endured by our great freedom fighters. The experience filled my heart with immense respect, gratitude, pride, and deep emotion. It was a humbling reminder of the sacrifices made for our nation’s freedom.
I also noticed that a large number of freedom fighters imprisoned there were from Punjab, Bengal and from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Madras & Maharashtra as well.
No words can truly describe the pain they endured so that our country could attain freedom from colonial rule.
I woke up at 1:27 PM today.
I checked my phone. I had missed a 1:00 PM meeting with the CIO.
My Slack status had been set to "Away" for nine hours.
He sent a message: "We're waiting on the call. Where are you?"
I didn't panic. I didn't apologize.
I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and typed:
"Sorry! I was up until 4:30 AM manually re-indexing the SQL fragmentations. The automated script failed and I didn't want to risk data corruption during business hours."
(I was actually up until 4:30 AM watching a 4-hour YouTube documentary about airplanes).
His reply came in 10 seconds:
"Wow. Thank you for catching that. Please, get some rest. We can reschedule."
The Lesson: Management doesn't know what we do. If you use words like "fragmentation" and "corruption," they won't fire you. They’ll thank you for your sacrifice.
Incompetence looks exactly like martyrdom if your vocabulary is technical enough.
I’m going back to bed.
Lady, 48 , my patient since 5 years. Lower middleclass. Has diabetes since 8 years. More importantly she has a heart valve problem since 20 years, that needed surgery at some point.
She is taken care of by one of the kindest cardiologists I have ever come across.
Her Hba1c was always between 7-8%. I wished that it could be lowered but.....it was her lifestyle that was a hindrance. Am still working on her at every visit.
While the cardiologist was contemplating an Open Heart Sugery, she suffers a brain stroke and was paralyzed in one half of the body. This was around 3 years back. She made a full recovery in 1 year.
She then underwent her open heart surgery and it was successful. I see her every 3-4 months.
And everytime she comes, she is either accompanied by her husband or one of her two adult children. I haven't ever seen her come alone in these 5 years.
Her husband is uneducated and works in a small factory. Her 2 young-adult kids are now educated and working.
What I see everytime is the tight bonding and love these 4 people have for each other. I see love and concern in the husband's eyes for his wife. I see the love and concern of her kids towards her.
I see my patient in a happy space more or less all the time. The only time she was stressed was before her heart surgery.
She may have major health problems, she may not have that much money, but she definitely is blessed with a loving family. And that makes her a winner in life.
Touch wood....
