Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) fund have been cut down which means tenants who have extra room would fall in arrears. Food Banks and soup kitchens are very valuables in time of crisis as some of our tenants use them to keep going in Benefits have been stopped.

At VPL when tenant who are hoarders due to Mental Health they move on for high 24 hour support scheme, we just leave the rubbish in the garden we clear the garden too. Making the community clean and safe from infestation rats, mice. @HCCTPT @hullccinfo @mentalhealth @mind

VPL colleagues takes client to DWP for an assessment for benefits which was stopped 5 months ago. That means H/B was stopped. VPL did NOT evict the client but worked hard to support the client. Well, payment will be backed dated. Support Workers never give up we go extra mile😀

Always happy when we receive donation for our empty property. One property all furnished thanks to the donation. A bunch of Clients on the VPL waiting list @ will be Offered Supported accommodation by end of this week. Many Thanks to the wonderful lady who donated the furniture.
