What more proof does the government need?
My father has been driving this Mercedes for the last 17 years. Not a single major issue, not a single complaint. But over the past few days, the car started behaving unusually, and today it finally threw up a P0087-4A fault code.
Can someone please explain to Mr. Gadkari what this code means?
Maybe it’s not contaminated fuel, maybe it isbut something definitely feels wrong. I don’t know about the rest of India, but some fuel pumps around Chandigarh seem suspicious. This is now the second vehicle in my family to show fuel-related symptoms.
17years of flawless service, and now it feels like this trusted companion may not have many years left. Today, for the first time in a long while, I saw genuine sadness on my father’s face.
People who spend their lives travelling in government vehicles may never understand this emotion. For many of us, a car is not just a machine that takes us from one place to another. It becomes a part of the family. It carries memories, journeys, celebrations, and stories.
This isn’t written in anger. It’s a folded-hands request. Please don’t take away the emotional connection people have with their vehicles.🙏🏻
Yesterday, I posted about my sibling’s petrol car getting stranded on the road due to a fuel pump failure. The company itself confirmed it was linked to a fuel blending issue related to ethanol.
But unfortunately, I had to delete the post because of immense pressure from higher authorities. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take down something purely out of concern for family safety and precautions.
The unfortunate truth is that whenever someone speaks up about ethanol-related issues, attempts are made to silence them. This may continue, but these problems won’t disappear and tomorrow it could be my own car stranded the same way.

From yesterday night else was deemed. It came normal some time back and now no electricity. Small rain and no electricity. Have some shame in the summer.
People will surely die with such attitude and service.
It isnt surprising that NEET exam has been cancelled by the @NTA_Exams . The hub of this entire operation is Sikar, where the success rate is 6X of national average. A similar thing happened in 2024 too, but the allegations were brushed under the carpet. Had we dealt with it in 2024 with an iron hand, this wouldnt have repeated.
What we know is that 140 of the 180 questions in NEET were part of a guess paper of 410 questions. What is alarming is that the order of the questions and the options were exactly the same.
The modus operandi is simple. In Sikar, the students are called in for a Mock test, a day before the actual exam and made to prepare for each of the questions in the guess paper. The students had 140 of the 180 questions preepared, thus guaranteed 600 of the 720 marks even before they entered the exam hall.
Time to go after the paper leakers. Jail them. 23 Lac students and families will pay the price of the brushing under the carpet we did in 2024. @careers360
Maharashtra's #Solar Tax Move: A Blow to Consumers
1. The Maharashtra government is preparing to levy an #electricity duty on solar consumers — a segment that chose clean energy to escape rising power costs.
2. Solar consumers are already burdened with Grid Support Charges (GSC), now collected across all categories with systems exceeding 10 KW.
3. GSC is being collected at ₹1.96 per unit from LT customers and ₹1.42 per unit from HT customers, adding directly to electricity bills.
4. A new percentage-based electricity duty structure is being formulated, which could further multiply the financial burden on rooftop solar users.
5. Electricity duty will be levied on both self-consumed (self-generation) and exported power under net-metering — leaving no relief for any solar usage.
6. Even 'Behind-the-Meter' consumers — those using solar power entirely for themselves without exporting anything — will not be spared.
7. Solar consumers' electricity bills have already risen substantially due to previous policy changes, and this new duty would be the final blow. Govt of Maharashtra have costliest rates for electricity in the country.
8. Amendments to Time-of-Day (ToD) regulations have changed peak hours, causing a significant increase in industrial electricity bills.
9. The state government previously hiked the tax on electricity sales by 9.90 paise per unit, further squeezing consumers financially.
10. This move discourages investment in rooftop solar, undermining India's broader renewable energy adoption goals.
11. Large-scale consumers and industries already face a significant financial burden due to the order to collect GSC charges.
12. The proposed duty could force ordinary citizens to abandon solar energy entirely — reversing years of green energy progress.
13. The cumulative effect of GSC + electricity duty + ToD changes creates a triple financial hit on solar consumers simultaneously.
14. By taxing exported #power under net-metering, the government effectively penalises consumers for contributing surplus clean energy to the grid.
15. These policy moves signal a systematic rollback of incentives that originally motivated consumers to invest in solar infrastructure.
16. Consumers who made long-term capital investments in solar panels based on earlier policy assurances now face a betrayal of those promises.
17. Industrial units using solar systems face disproportionate impact, as the combined duty burden may make solar economically unviable for them.
18. Energy expert Sudhir Budhe has raised serious concerns, pointing out that all members of the committee are government officials — raising clear conflict-of-interest issues, as those who stand to benefit from the outcome cannot be expected to make impartial decisions.
19. The government has refused to announce specific names, only vaguely referring to "inclusion of experts," and critics have strongly argued the committee should have comprised truly independent members — making it a body that lacks credibility, transparency, and public accountability from the very outset.

Have you ever noticed; there’s hardly any water anywhere in Kharadi; except at this one spot?
Is it God’s blessing? If yes; we should build a Shiv temple here; with water flowing from his head all year round.
If not; then of course it’s PMC’s blessing; ensuring so much water at one point that tankers keep getting filled; even in scorching summer.
For many days I kept wondering; how on earth are hawkers openly running businesses on a public footpath, and why is PMC completely powerless to touch them?
Today the truth was revealed. This didn’t happen by accident.
The PMC Commissioner is allegedly involved, with a ₹2 crore deal made to convert a footpath into a hawker zone, routed through a local fixer who now collects rent from these vendors.
Is this the level of governance we’ve sunk to; where citizens lose their right to walk, while public officials allegedly monetise public inconvenience?
I hope @PMCPune serving and ex commissioners answers before subtly moving out of Pune by making sufficient.
PS: If one footpath can get 2Cr; think of how much they would made in entire Pune.
Parliament was informed that the Pune–Nashik Semi High Speed Rail alignment was changed due to concerns raised by DAE/DST and the GMRT zone. However, replies received under RTI from NCRA clearly state that no formal NOC, no technical rejection, and no official directive was issued by DAE, DST, or GMRT mandating such a change. The RTI reply merely shares incomplete and unverifiable drive links, with only one letter accessible and no certified documents supporting the Parliamentary statement. This raises serious questions on transparency, accountability, and the basis of a major public infrastructure decision. Citizens deserve complete, authenticated records not informal references. @RailMinIndia@NCRA_Outreach@TIFRScience@AshwiniVaishnaw@kolhe_amol@satyajeettambe@NCPspeaks #RTI #Transparency #PuneNashikRail #GMRT #PublicAccountability
