@xai Just got an email from [email protected] saying someone logged into my account but.....I don't have an https://t.co/Kxme9SphpB account. And there is no account with that email (according to https://t.co/Kxme9SphpB's pw reset page)
@AmericanAir post-trip update. @AmericanAir never took any action to make this right before the trip. the whole time it was a broken record.
"oh it'll be ok"
"oh no we can't guarantee it'll be ok. and there's no way to get a refund (before the trip) for what we stole from you!"
we paid @AmericanAir extra $ to pick our seats, then right before our trip, they re-assigned our seats and told us on chat+phone, that:
1) the seats are NOT guaranteed
2) they will not give us our money back!!!
So what did we pay for again? quid pro quo

@AmericanAir Given these excerpts:
1. "our system will search for seats together"
2. "we'll assign seats so children under 15 are next to at least 1 adult"
which of them are true?
@AmericanAir@AmericanAir we'll talk more tomorrow. Would like to know why your treatment of my family is in direct contradiction with your public policy? Some kind of discrimination? I'm genuinely curious for your explanation.

Truely sad that @AmericanAir cannot acknowledge that they are:
1. stealing from me (and other customers)
2. possibly putting a female minor in danger
Seems the only thing in-between reality and their stubbornness is their pocketbook
@AmericanAir same merry go round in the DM. we paid for something, AA stole it from us, the value has increased, @AmericanAir refuses to make us whole!
THAT IS LARCENCY!!!
@AmericanAir In my mind, we have a contract, I will purchase your ticket INCLUDING the reserved seat. If you breach the contract , you should not only give me the $ back, but give me what I originally purchased. Which is now much more expensive. Time is a factor, you know this.
@AmericanAir We keep trying and keep getting shut down like 5 times in a row now. Seems like you are unwilling to admit that you in fact:
1) take $ to reserve a seat
2) take away the reserved seat
3) keep the money until AFTER the flight is over
@AmericanAir@AmericanAir you steal money from your hard working customers, when they ask for it back, you tell them it's "against your policy". Even though, in all likelihood, your policy is not legal. Shamefully more concerned with your pocketbook than your principals. It's disgusting.
@AmericanAir Let me try to help you understand:
1) we pay X for Y
2) you take away Y
3) we ask you for X back
4) you say "sorry" and keep X
If these terms are amicable to you. Can we please do them in reverse where you pay me X for Y and I simply do not give you Y?
@AmericanAir@AmericanAir do you find it ironic that your paltry attempt to imply that I am being a bad actor by withholding information (when in fact it is AA that is behaving badly) is met with deafening silence once exposed?
@AmericanAir the point is, my wife is travelling with my daughter who is a minor and we gave AA money for something that AA is now no longer giving us. flying in different rows is NOT an option and paying to "choose a main cabin seat" is a complete fallacy and false advertising.
