📹 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡: PSA Prof. @AjaySoodIISc, in an exclusive interview with @ANI, highlighted that the ₹1 lakh crore RDI fund is a path-breaking step to catalyse private-sector R&D in India. Secretary @IndiaDST Prof @karandi65 emphasised that the Department of Geospatial Science and Technology @dtu_delhi must go beyond academic programmes to emerge as a leading research hub—driving technological innovation, supporting start-ups, and contributing to national missions.
He emphasised that Delhi NCR offers a live lab for a range of impacts like that of urban mobility, Yamuna floodplain management and pollution. Initiatives like pollution mapping through digital twin models, predictive modeling can strengthen the region’s infrastructure and planning.
