ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾಗಿ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮವರ ಶತಮಾನಗಳ ಕಾಲದ ಹೋರಾಟವಿದೆ, ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜೀವಗಳ ತ್ಯಾಗ, ಬಲಿದಾನವಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಈ ದಿನ ನೆನೆಯೋಣ. ಅವರ ಈ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ - ಸಂಘರ್ಷದ ಬದುಕು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗದಂತೆ ಭವ್ಯ ಭಾರತ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕಿರುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ.

ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಜೀವನ ಕ್ರಮ. ಜಾತಿ, ಲಿಂಗ, ಧರ್ಮಾಧಾರಿತ ತಾರತಮ್ಯವಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಉಳಿದರಷ್ಟೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ, ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಘನತೆಯ ಬದುಕು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ‌ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೈರುಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬದಿಗೊತ್ತಿ, ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು, ಕಲಿತ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ಪಡೆದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಳಸೋಣ.

ನಾಡಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ದಿನದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

Students' demands are non-negotiable.

First: The corrupt and incompetent Education Minister has to be sacked.

🔹There is some talk going on within the Modi government's Cabinet about moving Mr. Pradhan to another ministry. This is not acceptable to the students of India, and it is not acceptable to anybody.

The reason is that Mr. Pradhan is a symbol of corruption and of what happened to India's children. He is the symbol of the destruction of the most valuable thing this country has: our students and their future. Dharmendra Pradhan has to be sacked. Period!

Second: The people (the organisers and the implementers) who attacked the students need to be punished and held accountable.

Third: The leader of the entire machinery behind this, Mr. Narendra Modi, has to apologise for what he has done to the students and to the future of this country.

India’s students are not protesting without reason. They are facing an education system weakened by declining public investment, rising fees, expensive coaching, repeated paper leaks and a centralised testing system that has failed to protect merit and fairness.

The Modi government has responded to this growing crisis not with accountability and dialogue, but with police force. At the same time, public schools are closing, universities are being pushed towards loans, educational opportunities are becoming costlier, and lakhs of talented students from poor and middle-class families are being left behind.

The anger of India’s youth is the result of years of privatisation, commercialisation, political interference and neglect. Their demand is simple: affordable public education, credible examinations, equal opportunity and accountability.

I urge everyone to read this important article by Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, on the collapse of India’s education system and the trauma being faced by our youth.

After 152 paper leaks shattered the dreams of crores of students and drove lakhs onto the streets in protest, your government has finally announced fast-track courts to deal with paper leak cases.

But the students have a more immediate demand: fast-track the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.

Accountability cannot begin in the courtroom while those responsible remain in office.

I strongly condemn the brutal use of lathis and tear gas against over 20,000 peaceful protestors marching towards Parliament to seek justice for the victims of the NEET scandal.

A question paper leak does not merely compromise an examination - it compromises the credibility of the nation itself.

Instead of answering the questions of lakhs of students, the Modi Government has chosen to silence the questioners.

This Government seems to have mastered the art of leaking question papers while blocking questions in Parliament.

ಮತದಾನ ಎಂಬುದು ಹಕ್ಕಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಕೂಡ. ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನೇ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಂತೆ.

ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ 108 ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕವಚ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತ ಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತುರ್ತು ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ವರಿತ ಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ದೊರೆಯಬೇಕು. ಈ ದಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ ದೊರೆಯಲು ಈ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಆ್ಯಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಸೇವೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸೇವೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಶಯ.

Citizens are told to cut down consumption, avoid purchases, reduce travel and sacrifice in the name of the nation. But PM @narendramodi’s politics continues to run on extravagance. Expensive events, endless publicity, full-page advertisements, massive roadshows, election spectacles and taxpayer-funded image management.

There is no austerity in the Government’s propaganda.

No austerity in Vishwaguru’s political rallies.
No austerity in his self-promotion.
No austerity in the machinery built around his image.

The poor are asked to consume less.
The middle class is asked to pay more.
And the Prime Minister’s politics continues to spend more, advertise more, travel more and celebrate more.

Austerity for the citizen. Extravagance for the ruler is the Modi model of development.

PM Modi who once boasted of making India a 5 trillion-dollar economy, who claimed that development was racing ahead and that poverty had been eradicated, is now pleading with people not to buy gold, use less petrol and edible oil, avoid foreign travel and reduce fertiliser use. What kind of development is this?

The people are facing unbearable prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas and essential commodities because of the Union Government’s failed economic management and confused foreign policy.

In contrast, Karnataka’s economy under the Congress Government is strong: our per capita income is ₹4.33 lakh against India’s ₹2.11 lakh, our GDP growth is 8.1% against India’s 7.4%, and our contribution to national GDP is 9.19%.

PM Modi should come prepared with facts before making allegations against Karnataka.

ದೇಶದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಹೊಸ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ನಮ್ಮದು. ಕಳೆದ ಸಾವಿರ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೂ.1.13 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನರ ಮನೆ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಇದರ ಜೊತೆ ರೂ.1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 1.37 ಕೋಟಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಒಂದಿಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಯೋಜನೆಯ ನೇರ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ತಲಾದಾಯವು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ನಂಬರ್ ಒನ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೇರಿದೆ. ಕೋಮುಗಲಭೆ, ಅಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆಯಿಂದ ನಲುಗಿದ್ದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಶಾಂತಿ - ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ಮೀರಿದ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದತ್ತ ಹರಿದು ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಜನಾಂಗದ ಶಾಂತಿ‌ಯ ತೋಟವಾಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು, ಆ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣೀಕರ್ತರಾದ ತಮಗೆ ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಶ್ರೇಯ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿ ನಾಗರಿಕನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು.

ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ, ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ದಿನದ ಪಯಣವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಸಹಕಾರವಿರಲಿ.
