As a physician working in Germany: this lunacy will have catastrophic consequences for all sides: patients and doctors -and businesses:
A) This will force patients to go to work when they should be staying home and resting, ultimately endangering themselves and others and prolonging recovery times - because it’s actually insane to demand from people with fever or diarrhea to actually physically go and see a doctor on the first day of their symptoms.
B) This is going to be an absolute nightmare for doctors and emergency departments.
There’s absolutely no capacity whatsoever in the German healthcare system for this utterly absurd legislation.
@happilygoldn@EsmeWasTaken_ i really hope that i can find an original language screening somewhere where i live bc at least the german book just isn’t quite the same as the english one
@happilygoldn ~stay home completely&I didnt want that the third girl in my group had to present alone bc she has a much more important(&longer)presentation in a different subject right after. But i was struggling😭left early & am omw home now, feeling physically the worst i’ve felt in a WHILE😭
@happilygoldn ~time I was running (we split the class in two groups bc 30 people can’t run at once and each persons time obv needed to be tracked) it was much later and therefore much hotter. I went to school day bc i had a group presentation and one of the other girls had to~
