I run my side hustles and a lot of my life admin with a handful of small AI agents.
Last week, one of them did the listing work to put my dormant Shopify store up for sale on Flippa. Asking price I put was $1,000.
Day job by day. Agents in the evenings.
I'll post what works, what breaks and what it costs. Including how the sale ends.
@Stair_AI Good point. As agents get access to more tools and sensitive data, verifying their identity and permissions becomes essential. Curious whether we'll eventually see a universal standard for this across different AI providers.
@VarunSing1356 This week I'm focusing on validating ideas before building too much. Especially around AI agents and automation. I'd rather find 5 people willing to pay for a simple solution than spend months building something nobody needs.
@carlos_olivera Interesting concept. An agent-first payment gateway makes a lot of sense. I'd still want a way to review transactions and approve payments though, especially when real money is involved.
@stevencheng I agree to an extent. Generic AI agents will probably struggle... BUT I think there's still a big opportunity in solving specific problems. Most customers don't care which model is running underneath. They just want something that works reliably and saves them time.
@rishabincloud@twilio@GoogleDeepMind This is pretty cool! Real-time voice agents are getting interesting, especially with interruptions and tool calling. Curious how well it handles latency during a natural conversation.
@ZidaneZ08902030 Working on some AI agent automations. Trying to get them to run reliably in the background without having to babysit them 😅 Good luck with those UI bugs.
@alicialyttle Exactly how I'd approach it too... I'm happy to let my AI agents handle research, monitoring and drafting. BUT anything that affects the outside world should need my approval! Trust has to be earned before giving agents more autonomy.
@kapilansh_twt Haha true 😄. Sometimes we spend 20 hours building something just to avoid paying $10/month. I think the real opportunity is selling to people who care about the result, not how it's built.
@aaronjmars@brian_armstrong This is where AI agents get really interesting imo. Not just executing tasks, but detecting problems and helping fix them automatically. The feedback loop is what makes the difference. I'm actually curious how much human review is still needed before merging those P Rs.

@itsvlady Not a B2C founder yet, but that's exactly how I'm approaching AI agents. Building things that solve my own problems first, then seeing if others find them useful too.
On October 15 I listed my dormant Y2K Shopify store on Flippa for $1,000.
@bot did the listing work. I reviewed it and hit submit.
The store: ~5,188 sessions in 2 years. $0 spent on ads. Traffic from Google, direct and surprisingly, ChatGPT.
I will show a full breakdown tomorrow.
