A guy paid $8 for WiFi every time he flew American Airlines.

The moment he joins before his first flight as a member he gets free high-speed WiFi on every American Airlines flight. The same WiFi he'd been paying $8 per session for across 36 flights over 3 years. $288 for a benefit that required a 2-minute free registration.
