Ever so proud of the brilliant @PercusSingDuo, who performed a fantastic, atmospheric concert @southbankcentre on 8th June (including my arrangement of 'Tu Gitana'!). A year since they brought out their CD which you can find here... https://t.co/r80RUrAXOk
@Rosiegsm I, too, calculate baby weight based on cats. For example my mum's friend recently had a baby that weight nearly 1kg MORE than Nancy. That is quite a large baby...
@emma_clem Oh man. I am so sorry. I have no words, but my face is like this: 🙄
I was looking for a gif for 'fragile masculinity' though and this came up, so...
A violist, fed up of viola jokes, decides to take up the violin. So he goes to a shop, & asks for a violin. 'I'm afraid we don't have any,' says the assistant. 'Are you by any chance a violist?' 'Yes,' says the violist, surprised. 'Why?' 'Because this is a fish-and-chips shop'.
I hope my neighbours are fans of Christmas because I'm using my excuse of not practising piano for the last 5 yrs(ish) to start practising for Christmas NOW. I do however regret the bad quality of the piano arrangements in what is purportedly 'the best Christmas songbook ever'...
Last night's trip to @lumieredurham was totally breathtaking. Many more astonishing things too difficult to capture in photos. Particularly Methods @durhamcathedral - the sense of scale & being inside a gigantic sculpture was astounding!
@barneyrl Sadly I definitely do not think that she wanted that - it was on the 23rd December just before I went up to Durham for Christmas so I am quite sure it was a protest wee! Still - I got a nice new duvet for Christmas...
@RoseHComposer I am really hoping so because I have frozen about 60 of them and I need them to come out well in about a month! I found them on a list of 'freezer friendly cookies' on Pinterest and they're quite fudgy/cakey textured so hopefully they will survive...
re: aforementioned indecently perfect cookies. They come out sparkly because you roll them in sugar. I am overjoyed. Sadly they're all going in the freezer to wait to be Christmas presents. Maybe one or two will escape though...
Twitter. I have discovered an indecently perfect cookie recipe: SO indecently perfect that I don't even want to eat all the raw dough because that means there will be fewer cookies, which is unprecedented. I suggest you bake it right now. https://t.co/BwiXR4lwkS @CookFrontBurner
@barneyrl Oh man. That is bad. I feel your pain - Nancy weed on my bed last year in December, when my room was freezing and I therefore had 3 blankets on my bed in addition to my duvet. Had to wash a lot of things in the bath...
I think I have offended Nancy by taking her to the vet... To be fair, I am not sure they really enjoyed her presence either: lovely vet used the phrase 'a bit grumpy', which mostly reflects the fact that I apparently adopted the feline equivalent of Jekyll & Hyde.
I can highly recommend this lovely bunting which is made by @ZoePercussion and am mostly wondering when it is seasonally appropriate to get mine out again... https://t.co/53nB7KyOv0
