VIOLOOP

The First Plug-in AI for Your Computer.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

Current AI is a chat loop. You prompt, it returns tokens, you do the last mile.

The next shape is quieter: AI that watches your screen and prepares the next move, one Tab away.

The hard part isn't capability. It's control. Send, delete, pay — waits for a physical key.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

What happens after you plug in Violoop?

Let's walk through the Desktop App, and we will show you how to configure your settings and personalize your experience.

Already using Claude? You might still want Violoop.
Claude is an AI model. Violoop is dedicated AI hardware that interacts with your computer.
And they can work together.
Bring Claude into Violoop through BYOK and put your preferred AI model to work.

What if upgrading to an AI PC didn't mean replacing your PC?

That's exactly the idea behind Violoop. Bringing agentic AI to the computer you already own, without the need for a hardware overhaul.

Thanks to @TWICEMagazine for featuring us and exploring what this could mean for the future of personal computing.

@TWICEMagazine - What if your next AI PC upgrade didn’t require a new computer?
BVIO’s @violoop aims to bring agentic AI to existing PCs, potentially creating a new CE accessory category.

AI that gives answers is useful. AI that gets things done is better.
Violoop automates repetitive tasks directly on your computer.
No scripts. No APIs. Just AI using your existing apps through real keyboard and mouse actions.
Your workflow, on autopilot.

@rubenamadeo_ Hi Ben! Yes, Violoop supports Grok through BYOK (Bring Your Own Key), so you can connect your own Grok API key and use it with Violoop to handle tasks and automate workflows on your computer.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

Hi! Yes, backers from mainland China can participate in our Kickstarter campaign, and we support direct shipping to mainland China.

Regarding the $10 Early Access reservation, that promotion ended before our Kickstarter launch on September 15, so it's no longer available.

However, you can still back Violoop directly on Kickstarter for $399.

2/2 It also builds a local memory base of your workflows and context, stored encrypted on the device, with a separate chip for physical approval. The desktop app is required, and complex tasks may use a larger connected model. So it’s not a claim that the host does nothing or that every task is offline.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

Plug it in. Give it a task.
VIOLOOP works across the apps on your computer and keeps work moving—before you ask ask and after you approval.
Back it on Kickstarter from $399.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

1/2 You’re right that Hermes can use local models and GUI control too. Violoop runs screen understanding and everyday AI on its own hardware, rather than using your computer for that inference. It can work across apps without APIs and proactively suggest the next step based on what you’re doing.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

That's a fair point, and we appreciate you calling it out.
"No Code, No Limits" was wording from one of our earlier ads, and looking back, we agree it wasn't the most accurate way to communicate what we meant.
The intended message was simply that you don't need coding knowledge to get started with Violoop or automate workflows on your computer.
To clarify, Violoop isn't just a device that connects your computer to cloud APIs. It has its own onboard AI processing capabilities and runs local models for screen understanding, routine reasoning, and task execution.
Using API keys from providers like OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini is entirely optional. You can also connect your own locally hosted LLM through Ollama.
The main idea behind Violoop is to give AI the ability to interact with your existing computer through real keyboard and mouse inputs, rather than requiring you to write scripts or build integrations.
We appreciate the feedback. Clear messaging matters, and we're continuing to improve how we explain what Violoop actually does.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

AI memory shouldn't mean cloud dependency.
Violoop's Memory Base stores your preferences, workflows, and work context locally on your device.
So your AI can remember how you work, without starting from scratch every time.
Smarter assistance. Local memory. Your control.

[VIOLOOP @violoop]

Hi there,

Thanks for the detailed questions! Here’s where things stand:

1. Integration
Not yet. Right now the only supported way is adding an MCP server. We’re working on more integration options and will roll them out in a future update.

2. What can be shared
Yes, you can let Violoop choose what to share, or pick it yourself. If you just want to see what Violoop is doing, the easiest way is the Violoop phone app, which lets you check its current activity anytime.

3. History and storage
Violoop doesn’t store your screen observations. Task history, notes and similar data are kept permanently, and you can query or export them whenever you want. Just ask Violoop to do it for you.

4. Local vs. cloud
If you use local BYOK (a locally deployed AI model connected to your Violoop), everything stays fully local. If you use internet BYOK or Violoop Cloud, your content is first processed to remove private information, and then sent to the model provider.

5. Mac and display setup
All of those setups are supported. And yes, Excel works both in the browser (Microsoft 365) and in the desktop app.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Totally, the post is about our referral program, but if you're looking to buy one for yourself, Violoop is already available to back on Kickstarter.
We're currently in mass production, with the first batch expected to ship in early November. If you'd rather wait until it's available for direct retail purchase, that's completely fine too.
