Frontex counted just over 49,000+ irregular crossings into the entire European Union in the first six months of this year, a fall of 37 percent.

Spain now estimates around 49,000+ illegal immigrants entered Ceuta on Thursday alone.

One day in a city of 84,000 matched half a year across a continent.

That symmetry needs care, because the two figures are not the same species. Frontex counts detections at external borders and states openly that one person can be detected more than once. Madrid's number is a provisional operational estimate from security sources with no published method, produced during an event the Civil Guard officers' association said could not be counted precisely. State television had put Thursday at 2,000 to 3,000.

The distance between those two public counts is not a footnote. It is actually part of the crisis.

What matters more than either number is why the European figure is so low. Frontex says it plainly. Sustained cooperation with partner countries, and preventive measures in key departure states. The Western African route fell 67% because Mauritania, Senegal and The Gambia acted. The only major route that rose was the Western Mediterranean, up 17%, driven by departures from Algeria.

Europe's border numbers are low because other governments are holding them down.

That is the architecture Thursday exposed. One sovereign writes the legal consequence after interception. Another controls the probability of anyone reaching it. Spain's Supreme Court ruled in June 2026 that people caught swimming cannot face Ceuta's summary rejection procedure while fence climbers still can. It simply created no right to asylum and no right to remain. It changed the relative price of water against wire, and networks repriced faster than any parliament could answer.

Around 19 are dead. Morocco later brought water cannons and reinforcements, and the rush stopped. The burned vehicles Reuters saw were on the Moroccan side during clashes.

Madrid sent 60 troops and 200 specialist police.

Europe's external frontier is not a line on a map. It is a service bought from neighbours, and Thursday was an invoice.

The future is bright for India as long as the govt is stable and we do not let adversaries take advantage of internal issues.

Indian Gen-Z are achieving great things already. The small number we see engaging in arson & violence hijacking peaceful protests by others, using filthy language, and having perverted thinking are just a small percentage.

They will grow out of it, and more won't become them, if India can take care of the perverse and mind corrupting content they get exposed to as kids and teenagers.

Yesterday a single company put the most capable vulnerability-finding machine ever built into public hands.

Today the people who hold $120 billion of crypto cannot agree on whether they just became prey.

That disagreement is the trade.

The model is Claude Fable 5, the first public release in Anthropic’s new Mythos tier. The restricted version of that tier has already surfaced more than 10,000 critical vulnerabilities across the world’s most important software. The public version routes anything that smells like offensive hacking back to the older model, and Anthropic says more than 1,000 hours of bug-bounty attacks failed to find a single universal jailbreak.

The crypto industry split in half within hours.

One camp, led by a Moonrock Capital founder relaying a top white-hat, says the cost and skill to find an exploitable flaw in a smart contract is about to fall to basically zero. Their advice was not analysis. It was a fire drill. Revoke your approvals. Pull funds from anything unaudited. Move to fresh hardware wallets. Treat every contract as a sitting duck until proven otherwise.

The other camp, led by the founder of Curve Finance, says calm down. His point is sharp. The model is brilliant at browser and operating-system bugs, but most smart contracts are small, already heavily audited, and easier for existing tools to read. The real money was never lost in the Solidity. It was lost at the edges. Compromised multisig keys. Poisoned frontend dependencies. A single cross-chain verifier with no backup.

Both of them are right, and that is the uncomfortable part.

The same machine that lets a defender audit a protocol in an afternoon lets an attacker probe it in the same afternoon. The advantage does not go to the side with the better technology anymore. It goes to the side that points it first. For years the asymmetry in crypto favored the attacker because defense was slow and manual. Frontier AI does not erase that asymmetry. It accelerates both ends of it at once and dares each side to move faster than the other.

Here is what the panic misses and the calm misses too.

The exposure was never really the code. It was the belief that nobody capable enough was looking. That belief is what just died. $120 billion sat behind the quiet assumption that the cost of finding the hole was higher than the value of the hole. Drop that cost toward zero and every unaudited contract is repriced in an instant, whether or not a single one is ever drained.

The machine did not create the risk. It revealed the price of pretending the risk was not there.

The protocols that survive the next year will be the ones already running this tool against their own code today. The ones that wait to find out which camp was right will not get to choose.

Rammohun Roy the so called Sati reformer, hated the fact that his widowed mother Tarini Devi was a devout Hindu who contributed money for "idol worship" in Pujas. When he refused to pay his share from the family's land for contributions to Hindu ceremonies, his mother filed a case through his nephew, which Rammohun easily won due to his links with the British administrators. After winning the case against his mother, Rammohun took over all the property and kicked her out on the streets. His mother had to seek refuge in the temple of Jagannath Puri and died there in wretched conditions in 1822. When Roy's sister in law, Durga Devi also filed a case to recover back some money from family properties - Rammohun again ensured that his influence helped him win the case. He then forced his widowed sister-in-law out on the streets.

This is the man who is touted as the savior of widows - but himself ensured that the two widows in his own family were thrown out on the streets and forced to live in wretched poverty after taking over all their property - all in the name of his hatred against "idol worship".

Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat:

Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way.

Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned.

You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict.

Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect.

Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself.

As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal.
