@CtrlAltDwayne Not just Millennials, my boomer parents loved it, It's my favorite show (Gen X), my daughter loves it (Millennial), and her daughter (Alpha) watches it with me when she's over likes it enough to turn off Youtube. They're making the mistake Star Wars made ruining a multi-gen show.
@Falcon_Horus@CptCarterSG1 Watching someone getting shot or whatever in a show like stargate isn't really all that bad. Letting your kids see that there are good guys and bad guys in the world teaches them that they need to protect themselves. Watching sex with your kids is simply gross.
Me and my 13 year old daughter had been watching Stargate for years once SGU came out (single father). Stargate was a family friendly show (besides the first ep). We sit down start watching were both excited about it. Then almost first thing 2 of the cast are going at it in the janitor's closet. So we had to turn it off, embarrassed..
I did watch the rest, the first ep was good (other than that closet..), then the next several were very boring, stories about people trading bodies with people on earth and have sex in other people's bodies. (basically Wonder Woman rape..)
Then there was an incursion from some militants and the story picked up and was great after that (other than the colonel being stupid during the incursion..)
By the time it was canceled however, it was a very good show. When I rewatch I just skip all of the bad episodes lol
