@WallStreetApes Colgate optic white tooth paste. Opened a new tube. Realized in the middle was a pocket of air comprising about one third the volume. You notice this only after a couple use’s perhaps by design. They put it in the middle perhaps by injection of air while filling.
@bavedikian A good ending. They should take steps to reduce the frequency of these problematic issues. For expensive items, I bet charging a small fee for a tracker in the package that customers can return by mail or to a store for a tracker refund can solve many of the problems.
@Liathetrader@arianaelena97 A PhD is cost neutral. Will take 4 to 5 years but will impact the rest of your life. I think it’s worth it. Granted 5 years is a longer timeframe for young women if they want a family.
@girdley When you have reached something close to financial independence it’s time to start coasting work-wise and spend quality time with family. The incremental financial gain is worth a lot less than what good family time is going to be.
@SpeakerWelchIL@MeetThePress@kwelkernbc Her choice of words are a clear indication of bias. Claiming that republicans blocked the fund when she knows it was a few republicans and essentially all democrats. Regarding CA they refuse to secure elections with voterID so it will be questionable if there is rigging.
@virtualbacon Is that someone trying to take possession with the hope that quantum computers will some day unlock the dormant or forgotten about wallets ?
@dylthorn From a financial perspective it is better to rent but a home is much more than a place you live. You and your family make memories in a home . You put glowing stars on your kids bedroom ceiling. You mod the basement to make it perfect. Can do none of that sort in a rental.
@alex_avoigt To answer that question you need more than financial information. You need to know investors sentiment. That’s why is a gamble either way.
@ImMeme0 What it comes down to is if the cost of living was the same where would you choose to live ? If it’s CA then do you earn more to be able to cover the $50k difference? If yes, CA would be the natural choice?
