Protection to actors in the #PCVET space is very essential in the fight against #Violent Extremism and government MDAs and CSOs are working to ensure support for each other in a complex terrain. This is possible through a #Whole of Government and #Whole of Society approach.

Today we have officially handed over a fully furnished pit latrine to Nyakabale Primary School. Thank you Luena Foundation for the support. This has brought Joy to the children, school management and the parents. Religious leaders graced the hand over ceremony.

Motion on increased investment by the East African Community on Climate resilience and youth mental health, moved by Hon. George Solomon 🇹🇿, is under discussion.

@KakoozaDerric12 noted that at least one student dies every year at @UCUniversity due to mental health challenges, a serious issue in Uganda.

He called for a separate, dedicated discussion on mental health to strengthen interventions.
