Most chains still run the same old casino: transactions sit in a public mempool (the waiting room), bots snipe your bag, MEV vampires drain you, and gas wars turn every swap into a bidding war. Classic.
Retium said “nah” and deleted the waiting room entirely.
No mempool. Zero.
When you send a tx it goes:
TX → Router → straight into an open block.
That’s it. No public queue for bots to camp. No front-running. No sandwich attacks. No “pay 47 gwei or wait forever.” Transactions get processed in arrival order + weight. Jumping the line is literally impossible because there is no line.
They built this whole thing from scratch in Rust. No Ethereum or Solana code copy paste. The architecture is called PrimeMesh with a multi-dimensional mesh where block positions are determined by prime number factorization. That means multiple blocks (between 3 and 20) stay open and process transactions in parallel instead of the usual single file linear chain. Forks are mathematically impossible. If a proposed block doesn’t fit the prime structure, it’s just invalid. No longest chain drama, no leader election, no mining race.
Right now public testnet is live. Wallet is out. People are already testing the “no gas auction” life and the difference is crazy for normal users and DeFi degens alike.

Ayo so this Retium post is straight up flexing their whole PrimeMesh setup and why traditional blockchains are kinda mid by comparison. They’re saying the network doesn’t even have to ask “what’s the next block?” or “what’s the next state?” because the entire structure is already locked in by pure math before any block can even show up.
Why this is actually a massive W :
1. Forks are cooked
No cap, the biggest headache in crypto security and UX is forks/reorgs. On Retium they’re not “resolved”… they’re impossible by design. A competing block literally has nowhere to plug in. That means way cleaner finality, less drama for users and apps, and attackers can’t just spam alternative histories as easily.
2. Everything becomes predictable asf
Because every node runs the exact same math, they all land on the identical mesh structure with zero negotiation. That’s huge for reliability. Devs and users know exactly what the next valid positions are. No lottery, no “who got lucky with the proposer role.” Just pure deterministic vibes.
3. Scalability without the usual cope
Linear chains hit a wall hard when traffic spikes because everything queues behind one block. PrimeMesh lets the network grow sideways and process in parallel. Throughput can scale with the mesh itself instead of just throwing more hardware at a single pipeline. Plus no global mempool means less front-running and cleaner fee markets (they do weight-based fees, not gas auctions).
