Going in just now on Hardcastle Street. After years of asking it seems we are finally getting some proper protection for the infamous bike lane. 🙌 Hope it makes a difference!

@JulieACorr @Starling3232 We would have to disagree , its a beautiful spot which is a must see when visiting Belfast. So many cars make their way down this car sewer everyday and everybody loves cars so I don’t see what the problem is. Yeah it’s a little run down but nothing a lick of paint won’t fix.

A 5% yield plus expenses would generate a suggested rent of about £3000/yr for a £50k car parking space.

That's what we should be charging for car parking spaces, if we don't mean to be subsidising them.
