Today, my good friend Othow Lam Kak; a respected South Sudanese entrepreneur and the force behind several successful investments, including Wadkak Forex & Money Transfer, Dandy Hotel, Juba Diplomatic Schools, and many others took me on a tour of a massive project he is developing in Highland, Sherikat.
The development features a modern conference hall, beautiful cottages, and a large recreation center that is steadily coming to life. Seeing such investments take shape is inspiring, as they represent more than just buildings; they are catalysts for economic growth and community development.
Recreation and hospitality centers like this create jobs, attract visitors, support local businesses, provide spaces for families and friends to gather, and contribute to the overall quality of life in our city.
They also help position Juba as a destination for conferences, tourism, and leisure activities, generating revenue and opportunities for countless people.
It is encouraging to see South Sudanese investors continuing to build and invest in the future of our country. The ecosystem is coming to life, and the impact of projects like this will be felt for generations.
Start getting ready coz this is opening sooner than you think!
