Hey @JeffBezos you are all about travelling to the Stars. Did you know there is a show that has inspired people to become Astrophysicist. Military people, Historians, Cosplayers, VFX Artist, Writers etc. Also you like Sci-fi? Perhaps you could #savestargate for us? You own the IP
I will not watch a generic reboot of Stargate! If @AmazonMGMStudio attempts to bring Stargate back without the original creators involvement, I will review bomb it!
I will give every episode the lowest rating possible.
I will not watch it.
I will not tell my friends or family that the show has even been made.
I will watch the new abomination wither in darkness.
The only Stargate show I want is from
Martin Gero!
If @PrimeVideo renews his show, I will do the opposite of everything listed above.
We shall not go quietly into the night - Thomas J. Whitmore - Independence Day

Why is Stargate good business?
Because unlike most new projects, Stargate doesn’t begin with a question mark.
The audience already exists.
The fanbase already exists.
The brand recognition already exists.
Right now, tens of thousands of fans have signed petitions supporting Stargate’s return, and that number continues to grow.
And those signatures only represent a fraction of the audience.
Not every Stargate fan is on X.
Not every Stargate fan signs petitions.
Not every Stargate fan posts online.
Yet millions of people around the world still know the Stargate name.
Most studios spend enormous amounts of money trying to build awareness and loyalty around a new franchise.
Amazon already owns one that has spent nearly 30 years building it.
A new Stargate series would generate:
• New subscribers.
• Renewed interest in the existing Stargate catalogue.
• Merchandise and licensing opportunities.
• International sales and distribution opportunities.
• Spin-off potential across film, television, publishing and gaming.
Most importantly, it would be built on an audience that has already proven its loyalty for decades.
Today, fans stand alongside cast members, creators, writers, producers and community leaders including @MichaelShanks, @rachel_luttrell, @JoeFlanigan, @robertpatrickT2, @BaronDestructo, @martingero, @StargateYT, @dial_the_gate and @SGFansUnited.
Thousands of voices are speaking as one.
The question is simple:
If the audience is here, the demand is here, and the franchise is already proven…
What is the plan for Stargate?
Can we have an update?
A statement.
A roadmap.
A conversation.
Something.

Let me get this straight @AmazonMGMStudio, you nuke Stargate and now are enforcing trademark blocking on largely fan made 3D printable items out of nowhere?
I am not saying I speak for everyone , but…
@JeffBezos@AmazonMGMStudio
We, the Stargate community, alongside @BaronDestructo, @martingero, @MichaelShanks, @StargateYT, @dial_the_gate and @SGFansUnited, have a simple question:
What is the future of Stargate?
For years, fans have waited patiently. Yet the passion for this franchise has never faded. The support being shown today by fans, cast, crew, writers and creators demonstrates that Stargate remains one of the most loved science-fiction properties in the world.
We’re not asking for promises.
We’re not asking for dates.
We’re simply asking for an update. A word. A conversation. Something.
Does Stargate have a future at Amazon MGM Studios?
The audience is here.
The community is here.
The gate is still open.
We shall not go quietly into the night.

Re: #SaveStargate
"They [fans] will be the core of the new Stargate, a core that will only grow as they introduce the series to friends, family, and complete strangers, just as they have always done." -@BaronDestructo
Mainstream media is starting to notice our continued efforts to #SaveStargate. It feels very special to be part of this fandom without even having ever met anyone in person. And we're nearing 90K signatures on the petition!

Blair Fetter ending Stargate like this ignored everything it stood for—exploration, connection, and hope.
But everyone makes mistakes.
Let that story be completed. Let it live again with Martin Gero's vision
#SaveStargate
Stargate never survived because it chased trends. It survived because it built one of the most loyal communities in science fiction. That loyalty is still here, still growing, and still hoping for one more journey through the Gate. @PrimeVideo@AmazonMGMStudio#SaveStargate
Stargate shouldn’t continue simply because fans want more episodes. It should continue because it represents something modern television is losing: hope, exploration, intelligence and humanity. It showed us that courage, curiosity and cooperation could overcome even the greatest challenges. Few franchises built a universe this rich while remaining grounded in characters we genuinely cared about. For many of us, Stargate wasn’t just entertainment—it inspired a sense of wonder and possibility. A story that still means this much to people decades later has earned the right to continue.
Stargate still matters
@BaronDestructo@martingero@AmazonMGMStudio
The gate was never just a portal to other worlds. It was a symbol of hope, discovery, and humanity’s potential. Decades later, millions still remember what it made them feel. Some stories deserve an ending. Stargate deserves a future.
#savestargate
Stargate has *always* been fandom heavy. It started in forums and fan sites. GateWorld continues to exist, 14 years after the final Stargate Universe episode aired.
We'd also love to see new fans - and Martin Gero is your best shot @AmazonMGMStudio.
