many people are asking why is rahul gandhi mentioned here. firstly, the visual clearly states he's an indian citizen ('unproven claim'). it is actually trying to clear the myth! secondly, he was listed because of controversies and cases around it. the site linked has all the sources for it. sharing it here as some people might not read it: https://t.co/FHKY4FkYun
Imran Khan isn't the only celebrity in India with a foreign passport.
Here's a look at who else holds foreign citizenship and some interesting stories related to Indian citizenship.
@Harsh_i_am it's not based on a period but priorities. this visual is completely interactive. you can adjust all the conditions and see it change on our site!
thanks! this is a good suggestion but it's hard to add all the details about sources and methodology in the visual itself. this is the reason we host all our visuals on our site so anyone who is interested about methodology, data, and sources can learn more about it. information will always get lost when these posts travel around social media which is why it's better to maintain a single source of truth. that said we will try to do better in this area and provide sources as much as possible in future :)
About 9 times more young men than young women die in road accidents (48,000 vs 5,300). But about 4 times more young women than young men die from burns (12,500 vs 3,300).
Adding more details about the visual here since it's getting more traction now. The source of this data is Global Human Settlement Layer. It is a model estimate on the basis of census and buildings satellite image data. Our site hosts a really good interactive visual to play around with the map and you can find more details about methodology there: https://t.co/ZoMmyCjjit

I've been told by many BLR residents that some areas in this graphic are undercounted which is limitation of the datasets we have. @Puru_Bharata which city sir? no need to pay. don't think it'll be super accurate for punjab though because the numbers are estimates on basis of census (last 2011) and buildings sattelite imagery
