💡 Just watched this lecture on programming paradigms - probably the most insightful yet. Deep dive into how #gcc works, compiler & linker quirks, and how memory packing can silently cause infinite loops https://t.co/tkZ4c0uVij
@raymondh Which is a better way to move an iterator one step forward: `for x in iterator: break` or `x = next(iterator, None)`? https://t.co/BWkPWdzazi
@dutc_training@dontusethiscode Although I missed the first part, the ending turned out to be very fruitful. I've been thinking about recursions in SQL for the last few days, so thanks for the clear explanation of how it works.
@TamimiNas I think it's more like ??? & Python, ie. Python as an orchestration tool for running ??? modules. Anyway, I can't figure out the punch line based on the first 2 records 🤷♂️
I calculated the total length of all the videos I've collected so far and it turns out that it would take 218 days to watch them all 3 hours a day (~657 hours in total). Too much, especially considering that most of it was saved "just in case".
