@kellabyte But if its partioned it can’t process writes, and if the leader lease hasn’t expired the followers won’t have elected a new leader yet, so the data is still current.

Leaderless, yeah you need a quorum of consistent read responses, worst case you still have to read from all.

@standaloneSA Less than that probably… they’re designed to have low temp fluid pumps through them, like 40F, just warm enough to keep snow and ice melting. Uses an antifreeze liquid and often even siphons heat from a secondary source like a water tank.
