Given there is next to no dengue fever in Australia this proposed trial is completely unnecessary and risky. I will follow up as to why the OTGR are even considering this. #auspol
🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST BANK TO CHARGE CUSTOMERS FOR CASH
Commonwealth Bank has decided that your money isn't good enough unless you pay them for it.
Starting January 6, 2025, they're hitting customers with a $3 fee just for the privilege of getting their hands on their own cash.
They say it's to "enhance banking services," but let's call it what it is - a thinly veiled nudge towards a cashless utopia.

🚨🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA WANTS TO BAN TEENS FROM SOCIAL MEDIA - GOOD LUCK WITH THAT
Down Under just dropped a bombshell on Big Tech.
Their parliament voted 102-13 to ban anyone under 16 from social platforms, threatening massive $33M fines for companies that don't comply.
While lawmakers pat themselves on the back, critics point out the obvious: kids will find ways around it.
The real kicker?
This rushed law might create more problems than it solves, from privacy concerns to social isolation.

Government ramming through its social media ban for under 16s (with help from the opposition) requiring all Australians to verify their age or identity to access social media. Concerned? You should be. Because Aussies are given only 24 hours to voice their concerns! Shameful
🚨 BREAKING - AUSTRALIA 🚨
ICYMI, Labor has been quietly working on a project which will provide the interface between Social Media, Banks etc and Digital ID. Age verification!
Called TEx (Trust Exchange), this is already being integrated with @Google
Australian Independent Senator Fatima Payman is hitting her stride as she comes out strongly against the proposed ban on children accessing social media.
Criticising the use of face scanning or digital ID to verify age.
‘ this will require every Australian on almost every social media platform to provide ID which will need to be stored for an unknown period of time.
In an age of unceasing data breaches we need to store less personal information online not more.’
Thank you 🙏
Misinfo disinfo bill set to pass.
This is an act of betrayal against the Australian people.
They did this whilst we were distracted with the US election.
They hate you.

Feminism scammed women into becoming corporate slaves like men, instead of looking after their family, whilst convincing them they were liberated.
Now both partners work, neither can afford a house, and their children are raised by literal strangers in childcare.
Instead of celebrating a higher women's workforce participation rate, we should be targeting it to be lower and lower over time - because that would indicate a healthy society, one where women only work if they want to instead of need to.

We first publicly stated our goal to hit 100m users all the way back in 2018, in the depths of that bear market. We were just a small startup with an unshakeable belief that crypto is important and it will come back stronger.
I’m grateful to everyone who supported us along the way. We wouldn’t have gotten here without you 🙌
We are now one step closer to fulfilling our mission of cryptocurrency in every wallet, but the job’s not done.
Onwards!
Some of you have asked how I got into crypto and what’s my story:
Long story short, I had to close my business during the lockdowns and find different ways to support my family. I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and it put me into the right mindset.
I went from learning about real estate to learning about crypto.
When I started researching crypto, I stumbled upon Cardano whilst studying Ethereum and its founders. It just made so much sense for me to invest; I could see how undervalued it was. I got in at £0.02, investing most of my savings in the crash because my conviction was so strong.
I never doubted its success and I still don’t.
Twitter was a ghost town; not many people were posting updates about Cardano and crypto in general at the time.
Since I was invested and excited, it just came naturally to check for new updates every day and share them on Twitter. I found like-minded people who were interested in the subject, just as I was.
My portfolio grew over 100x. It hit over $2.5M and I rode it back to $1M, at that point I sold most of my positions, bought a house, and reinvested in crypto during the bear market.
I’ve made my fair share of bad market decisions, lost almost $100k on day trading, invested in some bad projects and got rugged. Got greedy. Became emotionally attached to $ADA and didn’t want to sell when my portfolio reached its peak.
You know what they say: 'Don’t marry your bags.' And it’s true. Do not get emotionally attached to your investments.
I recognised my mistakes and I’ve learnt from them.
My advice to you is to keep going, take risks and don’t be discouraged. Be patient. Research your projects and invest with conviction. Create a sell plan. Write the amount and various price points you will take profit at. Execute it. No emotions, just focus on the target.
It’s a huge risk to invest your savings in a speculative asset, I know. I was laughed at, ridiculed, and called crazy when I told my friends and family back in 2020. The truth is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk everything.
