I miss India before 2014 man. The good old days when we had 20mb of superfast 2g for just ₹200, went out to nature's beauty pooping, with no tap water, and got a terrorist attack every 2–3 months. It was a dream to get a train ticket,.i miss the golden era so much.
Tomorrow at 10am I am going to the RTO office to get a license for my friend. They can give the license in 24 hours or my friend will start driving by himself.
And if he is caught he will say police are against freedom of movement within the country.

If Narendra Modi is really destroying India then all Pakistanis should have been supporting Modi. But instead, they support Rahul Gandhi. Isn't this weird?
My name in SIR was deleted in my hometown as I don’t stay there anymore and was not present at that address.
I applied for migration and inclusion in new city. Submitted documents during SIR, now my name is included and new voter card has been issued.
Smuggled across the border in small batches over several months by OGWs. NIA filed a 13,500 page chargesheet for it where 7 OGWs were arrested for sheltering terrorists, while 6 were killed in encounters by Army.
Instead of peddling conspiracies, read NIA press release for once.
Is this how we treat the very farmers who feed us?
You have to be mentally sick to treat another fellow human the way this officer did.
Shameful and absolutely unacceptable. I demand that @TelanganaCS take action against this MRO
Delhi Police has moved a Delhi Court seeking cancellation of interim bail granted to Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 northeast Delhi riots larger conspiracy case, alleging that he violated the bail conditions by interacting with media persons during his temporary release to attend his cousins’ weddings.
Dear Elon Musk, @elonmusk
If your concern is internet access for every Indian, address it through India’s laws, policies and regulatory framework not by sarcastically suggesting that a billionaire is the real boss of our country.
India welcomes technology, investment and fair competition, but no company gets to dictate terms to a sovereign nation.
Our country was built on the vision of Nehru, the unity championed by Sardar Patel, and the constitutional principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Leaders from Indira Gandhi & Atal Bihari Vajpayee carried forward that national journey.
We may be divided by political parties, but we stand united as Indians when our national dignity is questioned.
The real boss of India is the Indian citizen not Ambani, not Musk, and not any corporate monopoly.
Competition is welcome. Corporate arrogance is not.
Respect India’s sovereignty.
Mr. Elon Musk,
Mocking India to score points against billionaires may grab attention, but it doesn’t make your argument any stronger.
We may be divided by political parties and ideologies, but when it comes to India’s dignity and sovereignty, we stand united as Indians.
Don’t confuse sarcasm with superiority. Compete fairly, respect India’s laws, and stop treating our country as though it needs lectures from billionaires.
India belongs to its people—not to corporate empires.
Respect India. @elonmusk
Dear Mr @elonmusk ,
We love you, but not at the cost of our sovereignty.
We know Ambani and Adanis are oligarchs and they are the buddies of @narendramodi and @RahulGandhi or anybody in power for that matter. That’s their survival strategy.
But our democratic country knows how to handle our oligarchs and it doesn’t don’t need anyone to give us lectures on our internal affairs.
You have no idea as to how fast Internet has reached our villages and hamlets and at a far cheaper rate! In fact, much faster than some of your western countries could have ever imagined!
You better focus on your own country and utilise your time in making great products.
Stay off. We will figure it out ourselves.
India has the among the lowest data prices in the world. It is so good that I don't even bother to connect to local Wifi when I travel in India and just tether my phone to work on my computer. Indians routinely have dual SIM phones with large data plans because they are so affordable. Ambani's launch of Jio is directly responsible for the low data prices Indians enjoy.
India has among the lowest drug prices in the world (and going lower still). People who visit India buy medicines to take home quite regularly now.
India has among the lowest cost payment systems in the world in UPI.
On the other hand, Tesla is protected from Chinese competition in the US market, keeping EV prices higher in America than elsewhere.
Prime Minister Modi has worked hard to create a competitive economy where the benefits flow to the average Indian. His government does not tolerate monopolies. He has also actively promoted and encouraged a massive surge in startups and that is the best signal of a highly competitive economy.
Directly due to Modi government policy, Indian startups are making major advances in low cost rockets and that poses a threat to SpaceX the same say the Chinese EVs threaten Tesla.
These are the facts Elon.
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
The passing of legendary Indian actor, National Award-winning artiste, and Padma Shri awardee Sri Nana Patekar Ji, is deeply painful. Over four decades, he brought extraordinary depth and authenticity to every role, from comedy to emotional, and from intense drama to the finest shades of human emotion, leaving an indelible mark on Indian cinema.
Beyond his remarkable contribution as an actor, his work as a social worker and his commitment to serving society will also be remembered with great respect.
I convey my deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues, and countless admirers.
Om Shanti.
