@NMMTA_Assn will close the survey on 5th October 2026, at 10:00 pm. It is requested to all concerned professionals to fill the survey form before that.
It brings pleasure to inform that due to the proactiveness of a concerned group of faculty members, the Karnataka Highcourt has directed NMC & MoHFW to not to implement "MSR 2023 regulations"till further hearing.
@NMMTA_Assn#saveMedicalMSc.
1. Denial of MoHFW orders by NMC
2. Stay from HCs in the examinership issues
3. Parliamentary standing committee report
4. Stay on MSR 2023
@MoHFW_INDIA must understand the personal vendetta of @NMC_IND top brass, is not for greater good & definitely against national interest.
NMC is akin to the blind Dhritarashtra from the Mahabharata, who sided with Duryodhana out of unconditional love. While the king consistently favored his own son, disregarding the Pandavas, the wise Bhishma could only watch in helplessness. Can we draw parallels here?
It is not the role of the regulator of medical education to create jobs for medical professionals, but this is precisely what the NMC has been doing.
This is nothing short of a blatant abuse of power, where the NMC is favoring individuals from its own professional background.
Despite their contributions to medical education spanning more than six decades, teachers with medical MSc/PhD qualifications are being treated as outsiders with limited rights, privileges, or protection.
Through shifting goalposts and modifying guidelines, the NMC seems intent on disqualifying qualified and experienced medical MSc/PhD teachers, in order to replace them with individuals from their own professional background.
Throughout this process, the @MoHFW_INDIA stands as a powerless and silent observer, as it initially erred by granting excessive powers to the regulator. The government's fatal mistake was entrusting the regulation of medical education to a single group of professionals who prioritize self-interests over broader educational objectives.
Is this legal? How is it legal?

As the nation celebrates #TeachersDay, a segment of educators in India's medical colleges, holding MSc/PhD qualifications, observes this occasion with a heavy heart. What deeply troubles us is not only the continuous assault on our qualifications, livelihoods, dignity, and rights by prejudiced individuals but also the unrelenting and biased actions of the regulator, the NMC (@NMC_IND).
The NMC, as a regulatory body, exhibits clear favoritism towards medical professionals, completely disregarding the valuable contributions of non-medical professionals. The government, in its decision to grant one professional group complete dominance, has unwittingly committed a grave error.
As a result, we find ourselves compelled to mark this day as #UnhappyTeachersDay. We urge all affected individuals to join us in reaching out to @rashtrapatibhvn, @pmoindia, and @MoHFW_INDIA@mansukhmandviya@OfficeOf_MM. Let us collectively shed light on the NMC's vindictive and discriminatory attitude, with the hope of fostering fairness and inclusivity within the #medicaleducation sector.
This day is not happy for some of teachers sir... Being a teacher we lost everything..
For justice we msc medical teachers request you please support us.. Give us our rights back..
May God bless everybody.. @mansukhmandviya sir..
Many of the faculty shortages in non-clinical disciplines are ARTIFICIAL, driven by flawed and misplaced policies rooted in pride and prejudice.
Self-regulation in India has largely proven ineffective. This becomes evident when the @NMC_IND is dominated exclusively by one group of professionals, promoting exclusivity and protecting their community's interests at any cost.
This underscores the need for @MoHFW_INDIA to step in, show NMC where it belongs, and assert itself as the primary benefactor for all stakeholders.
NMC, which fails to meet the international standards set by @wfmeorg, bears significant responsibility for the subpar standards of medical education in India.

The evidence is glaring; MBBS graduates aren't interested in non-clinical subjects. Thousands of PG seats remain vacant each year.
Why is the government interested in creating more non-clinical medicos, who are in the count of doctors but don't contribute to direct patient care?
Also, why are the medical colleges desperate to fill these PG seats by waiving off bonds, lowering qualifying percentile, decreasing fees, free seats, and offering other freebies?
