Martyrs come to family members in dreams and thoughts all the time, and this kind man got a message from his martyred son telling him to take care of Odai, his son. Grandparents found themselves caring for a child in a genocide with no support.

The Sameer Project does regular support for orphans. On May 15th, we visited the Ahmad Shawqi School and surrounding area in Rimal, Gaza City, and gave out food parcels to the orphans families who are staying there. 105 food parcels were distributed for $1,989 and that includes the 11% commission.

Slow death is happening in Gaza. Daily wounded from bombings, queuing for hours to secure basics like food and water, limited access to medical care, living in torn tents, sharing toilets with 100 other people, waiting for 1-2 hours to find transport and the list goes on.

These are the circumstances that Palestinians in Gaza live under, not for a couple of months but for a couple of years now. No end in sight and aid dwindling by the day.
