@levelsio People don't realize payroll taxes are exponential. Employer pays the salary including the amount for the empoyee to actually pay the tax, which is taxed. So when you think 20% payroll tax, you must divide by 80%. 100 / 0,8 = 125. 20% is actually 25%. 50% is actually 100%.
What are tech companies that continue to operate as full-remote / remote-first?
Given how return to office is so common across the industry: clearly those companies will have an easier time hiring (and probably also retaining)!
