In Karaikudi, right opposite Minister Prabhu’s dental hospital, there is 2.3 acres of temple land worth about ₹120 crore.

How is it that after they came to power under the TVK government, a patta that had not been registered for so many years is now being registered in a private individual’s name? On top of that, they conducted the entire inquiry just as a formality in a single day, using the Revenue Officer.

This network in the US needs to be broken and tackled by India. I am really unsure why India has such difficulty fighting Pakistan in lobbying, influencing, and narratives when it has so much economic power and geopolitical leverage? I can only blame it on apathy and no strategy on India's part.

When Trump was elected, I had warned that the GLISCO-DS will poison Trump's base against India, lobby against India with Trump admin officials, influence his politics and policies by psyoping his base. And India can preempt this by proactively tackling it.

Yet, I don't think much has been done. And when things started going in Pak's favor, Indians simply blamed it on Trump admin without understanding, in a democracy like the US, the admin is simply playing to its gallery which is being psyoped and influenced by GLISCO-DS.

Subhash Chandra ₹22,000 Cr controversy: The viral narrative needs context.

The ₹22,006 crore figure refers to admitted claims against Subhash Chandra in his capacity as a personal guarantor for loans taken by Essel/Zee-linked companies—not ₹22,000 crore personally borrowed by him.

Under the NCLT-approved settlement, around ₹6.25 crore is recoverable from Chandra’s personal estate, while the principal borrowers remain separately liable. The plan received 80.81% creditor approval, despite opposition from some major lenders.

The widely cited 99.97% reduction relates specifically to the claims recoverable from Chandra as personal guarantor—not a ₹22,000 crore waiver of the underlying corporate debt.

The plan also envisages around ₹1,494 crore in recoveries from the principal borrowers.

Chandra has separately claimed that the companies borrowed around ₹45,000 crore and have repaid about ₹43,000 crore since 2019. That figure is his claim and should not be treated as independently established without verification.

Bottom line: The NCLT order does not mean the Modi Government simply waived ₹22,000 crore for Subhash Chandra.

The controversy is more complicated than the viral posts suggest. Context matters—especially when financial figures are being presented for engagement.

Truth:

- Total claim was only 3992 crore.

- Of 3992 crore, 620 crore settled and 1063 crore will be paid by the borrower entities.

- Repayment plan favoured by 81% creditors

- Borrower entity for whom Chandra provided personal guarantees have already re paid 43000 crore.

In 1976 the TN Government formed by DMK under the leadership of Mr. M Karunanidhi was dismissed by the then Prime Minister Shrimati Indira Gandhi.

Within two weeks - that too during Governor’s Rule - the Frauds in @tnhrcedept amended the “Appointment of Auditors Rules” by which the external audit of temple administration by the Department was made an internal audit.

The internal auditors were made to report to the Commissioner whose work they were auditing. This RULE was never ratified by the TN Assembly. Thus, all the audits that were carried between 1976 and 2022 were ILLEGAL.

Now, the IAS fellows in @tnhrcedept and the Government are refusing to obey Court order issued 371 days ago - - to publish audit reports of Hindu Temples in downloadable PDF format.

Court orders are being trampled by @tnhrcedept Officials with impunity.

Frauds and scoundrels always have much to hide. Honest officers have nothing to hide.

I request Hon’ble Minister Shri @RameshOffcl to take immediate action against officials who refuse to obey Court orders.
