I wanted to ignore this, but I’ll take a moment to respond.
I am not the contradiction of what I advocate for; I am living proof of it.
I believe in bodily autonomy. That means every woman has the right to decide what happens to her own body and her own life. I chose to have my child. I will defend a woman’s right to choose motherhood, just as fiercely as I will defend another woman’s right not to. Feminism is not about forcing women into one path; it is about ensuring they have the freedom to choose their own.
I do not advocate for single motherhood. I advocate for accountability. My work has always been about demanding that men take responsibility for the children they help create and that women are not left carrying the physical, emotional, and financial burden of parenthood alone. Calling out deadbeat fathers is not promoting single motherhood, it is challenging the systems and attitudes that create it.
I was raised in the most stable and loving home. A home that respected my voice and encouraged it. I was raised by a loving and present father who taught me my worth through his actions. A father that calls me “my daughter, my love, my child, my dear”, a father that is so proud of me, everyone around him knows it. Because of him, I know what respect, responsibility, and care look like,. That is precisely why I refuse to accept less from men and why I will continue to challenge those who believe women should silently endure neglect, abandonment, or disrespect.
What some of you fail to understand is that feminism is not about controlling women’s choices. It is about defending them. It is about ensuring women have agency, dignity, and the freedom to decide the course of their own lives.
So no, I am not the opposite of what I believe in.
I am exactly why I believe in it.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. ❤️
@WANYERA_@ntvuganda@ReachDrMuganga@Parliament_Ug His narrative means he is simply a very dishonest person. This makes him a very dangerous officer.
If he can manipulate system to get what ever he wants. That time it was for jobs, what about this time?
Mr. Muganga Lawrence was not rejected by the committee for being a Munyarwanda, a narrative i see some people so deceptively selling. We have other leaders who are banyarwanda who were approved & have been approved in the past. Hon . Aisha Ssekindi and Dianah Mutasingwa were approved yet they are Banyarwanda but Ugandan citizens.
Muganga was not approved after he denied holding a Rwandan passport, but the Committee investigations confirmed he holds 3 passports: Ugandan, Canadian and Rwandan. Why was he denying it? Therefore, the claim that he was rejected because of being a munyarwanda is totally false, misleading & dangerous.
@BalaamBarugahar@Tom_Magambo@PoliceUg Rip that's the most scaring part of being in foreign countries in times of death you are brought back as cargo. Goods with no value.
