Good morning from Miami City Hall for today's commission meeting. During public comment, most speakers are asking city to reconsider the forced closure of the Virginia Key Outdoor Center.

@JoshCeb @vkocfl My kids went to camp there and it had a positive affect on them, especially my oldest daughter. We spend a lot of time there as a family. Taking this away will be devastating to families and homeless people will not be helped from that location.

All of those who have spoken on VK have asked the city to reopen the @vkocfl. Several parents here say their children have become environmentalists because they went to camp there.
