So before the next model ships, I’d really like to see some boring things fixed.
-Show the real context usage.
-Keep the full conversation after compaction.
-Give long-running tasks a live execution trail.
-Put actual timeouts around tools.
-Detect infinite tool loops.
-Make cancellation reliable.
-Give agents proper recovery checkpoints.
-Actually enforce AGENTS.md.
Make “Done” mean something.
