พนักงานหญิงที่ตายชื่อ คุรุมิ โอตาเกะ อายุ 22 กับเพื่อนร่วมงานหญิงอีกคน (ยังไม่เปิดเผยชื่อ) เป็นพนักงานร้านฮาบิตะ ขายเครื่องสำอางและของเบ็ดเตล็ด ในห้างอิออนมอลล์ จังหวัดคุมาโมโตะ ทั้งคู่เป็นผู้เสียชีวิตจากเหตุการณ์ห้างระเบิดหลังแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 7.1 ในวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2026 ที่ผ่านมา มีผู้เสียชีวิตทั้งหมด 7 คน
