@EmilyKerr36 I'm surprised it's as high as 50%. I cycle & safety is definitely a concern, along with bike theft. My children cycle too, I would let the 10yo cycle more & independently if I felt her routes were safer i.e. I would let her walk to a local friend's house but not cycle.

@bossproofreader V sad. Can he do that legally? If you rent then don't you have rights? He wouldn't be allowed to come into the house and tidy your kitchen if it wasn't to his liking so shouldn't be allowed to do that to the garden. The least/most he should do is have a conversation with you.

@carlafrancome @KatyCycles Consider Scouts for your children when they reach the right ages. Both mine go (one a cub, one now an explorer) they do loads of activities and a number of camps which allows them to make friends, explore and so much more. A bit 'famous five' and they love it.
